I wonder why Samsung isn't punished in any way by forcing people to buy the phone with their garbage Exynos 990 and USA with the 865. I hope the European Commission will ban them or fine them in any way.

Majority will be looking for snappy 865..
However looks like Sammy is sticking with crappy Exynos and Mali GPU..
Since the start of the competition this is the first time Snapdragon come
This close performance wise to Apple A chips..
I would rather go for a better version of Mi note 10 with that camera in combination with S865 That would be great choice !

Sammy please stop, stop kidding. After releasing this s20, you will advertise new cheap models called A or B or C, I don't know which one, exact copy of Galaxy s20 but cheaper one. I was big fan of Samsung. From now, I move to Iphone

So basically it's an S10+ but with a 6.2" Display, slightly smaller battery and the same rubbish Exynos chipset for Europe? No thanx

Anonymous, 07 Feb 2020buuu only snapdragon in usa wtf ????This is rather surprising for me. I thought previous leaks mention that Exynos version is only reserved for European markets. If the fact Exynos version is used in most markets is true, then it's better to skip this phone.
Exynos 9830/990 can't touch Snapdragon 865 nor Apple A13 Bionic, actually Exynos's performance is way less than those two SoCs.
https://www.anandtech.com/show/15021/samsung-announces-exynos-990-7nm-euv-m5-g77-lpddr5-and-5g-modem-flagship-soc
In this article, pay attention to some parts where Anandtech says this chipset is unlikely to catch up with Apple and Qualcomm. The improvement over Exynos 9820/9825 is thought to be minor, perhaps they've only improved the 5G modem. Storage is still at LPDDR4x (but Apple A13 is as well).
I have tried a friend's S9+ and owned a S10, all Exynos variants, now I'm thinking to swap it with the upcoming Mi 10. Paired with laggy UI, performance is not smooth, even at Android 10 (OneUI 2). Camera performance is not as good as you think, it's below the Snapdragon variants. Low-light is lacking in detail and colors, perhaps due to decent image processing quality.
Gaming is its weak point, S10 won't give sustained 60fps in PUBG Mobile at balanced graphics extreme framerate (even iPhone XS can top out at HDR with almost no problems, provided you've turned off antialiasing). COD Mobile stutters at very high graphics and framerate. Both games cause severe thermal throttling, despite using lowest resolution (HD+) without CPU limiter. Few occassions I checked CPU-Z app and battery temperature reaches 42-44 degrees Celcius, near critical levels of temperature. I had to place my phone in the fridge for a while to cool it down, then performance improves again.
I hope that Exynos version is only sold in Europe, not globally. Exynos chipset is NOT flagship-worthy, considering the price costs similar or more than an iPhone XR/11. I'll wait for the final result.

Still Fat32 or ntfs file format? It is a good question. It is so annoying when you hit 4GB, and you are forced to make another film, and then to use some program to put the movie into one. Fat32 is so oldschool really.

I owned S5 and after S8. Next one will be iphone because Samsung only provide with two maior updates to their flagships mobiles.
Why people will paid more than 900 euros by a mobile with 2 years android updates?
Samsung don´t understand it so they cannot compete on smartphones and they will go to medium market.
