Phone can't connect to the network unless I'm standing right next to a tower. Did everything and checked APN settings, reset network settings, my carrier tried everything, factory reset didn't help.

Now you have to look if the phone is in good conditions (scratches), and eventually if the battery works well enough (how long long you keep the charge). I wouldn't hesitate if it was new. But "used" I don't know.
