I can't see any problem with Samsung updating the SoC to Snapdragon 870 and releasing it into the Global market. After all, 865, 865+, and 870 are still the most top-favoured flagship Snapdragon SoC even to this day. Also, with Android 12 out of the box and a four OS update policy, this phone will eventually get Android 16. I can only think of one reason why Samsung won't sell this phone globally: the Exynos S21 FE.

So this version with 6GB RAM and 5G is sold in Korea only? Here in Indonesia, I've just bought brand new S20 FE 4G SD865 8/128 for USD 320 from Samsung Online Official Store. The production date ("RF Cal" from *#12580*369#) is 21 October 2022. In Indonesia 5G availability is still very limited, so it's not a loss at all, still prefer 8GB 4G over this trim.

Ignore comments saying battery is bad and overheats. It has a Snapdragon 865 in it which doesn't overheat and battery is probably the best for any device with a Snapdragon 865. Only real thing to worry about is 6gb ram is not future proof anymore because 8gb ram is the baseline now for decent phones. That said when I had one I didn't have any problems..just the screen is a little behind the times .

If you want the same performance with more ram and more premium looks and a modern Samsung screen get OnePlus 8...cameras are not as good though plus you get a curved screen on both OnePlus 8 and 8pro. Battery is excellent once you're off Android 10 .

jishuraj, 02 Dec 2022 are you sure bro ?? I dont think so because it launched in... moreS20fe had a relaunched 2022 version which is exactly the same as the original 5gversion with Snapdragon 865 and 6gb ram. Think it brought new colours
