Guess what - the Samsung representative told me that this device would have 4 more major OS upgrades, so you can expect it to have Android 13, 14, 15, and yes 16 for this device and one extra year of Security patches after the last OS upgrade is due. The price is relatively good. If I had to ask for only 2 HW upgrades then I would ask for 8 GB of RAM and a bigger battery if they can freeze the device at the same price.

Why are people even complaining when this phone doesn't exist in most markets and probably not on yours? Lol. As far as I know, this one only exists in Brazil, Corea and Mexico, because those markets didn't have the original S20 FE 5G, only the 4G version was available. Complaining about this would only make sense if Samsung had released the S20 FE 5G in 2020 or 2021 and then this one on 2022.

But how do you know the manufacture date?

patxtra, 17 May 2022why does this exist like actuallyMy hypothesis is since the regular s20 fe was one of their best selling phones that year, but won't receive major updates starting from next year. So they made a 2022 model to extend the support for future updates and hoping people would buy it again. Cash grabbing move yes, but the phone has a good value for the money.
