My biggest gripe with this phone is no hotspot switch or toggle in Notifications. It's such a pain to have to tap this many times to switch it on or off when I've been used to doing so with just one tap

Not sure if our problems are the phone or T-Mobile service. We bought 2 new Galaxy S20 FE 5G phones and have had all kinds of problems, the most serious is sometimes when making or answering calls the person on the other end can not
hear us or we can not hear them, not always but often. I've spent hours on the phone with T-Mobile Tech support agents trying all kind of things they say "usually work" for this problem and when the problem continues, they told us to exchange
for refurbished phones of the same model. We did that recently and have the same problems. Their solution: exchange for refurbished models of the same model phone like we just did. At this point I can only warn people to stay away from T-Mobile
and Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G phones.

The battery optimization of s20 fe 5g is bad, the battery drained around 16-19% overnight with wifi, mobile data and bluetooth turned off while my xiaomi with the same sd865 only drained 8%.

Tim, 15 Jul 2021Guys, what is your honest opinion ? Should I wait for Samsu... moreTBH there's not much they could do to the s21 body that wouldn't just be the same as an s20 FE. It's not unlikely that the s21 FE ends up worse save the sd888 SoC (if you'd even notice that difference there) since most of the compromises made to the s20 body to get the FE were already adopted by the s21 that followed (plastic back, non-curved display, etc...).
So if the S21 FE is cutting costs, where are they cutting them that won't leave the S21 FE worse or unnoticeably different? (save the price.)

Tim, 15 Jul 2021Guys, what is your honest opinion ? Should I wait for Samsu... moreHonestly, the Snapdragon 888 has heating issues and if the s21 Fe is going to be a compact phone, that might be an issue for you. I got the s20 Fe 5g about a week back and it's the best decision I have made for a smartphone purchase. Pretty snappy even on 60 Hz, I use 120 for games only. Battery life is all day long, but again depends on own use case. It will get updates for the next 3 years minimum.

I currently have Huawei P10 Lite, and also dont play games. I am using it mostly for youtube and like to take a lot of photos, so I gues it will be a siginificant shift for me to. Can i reduce from 120Hz to 90Hz or 60Hz, or does it have automatically based on the application that is being used or its just 120Hz ?

Not heating at all, it happened when i charged it for first time and took backup, nothing thereafter. It feels fine, good performance, smooth, but then again i came from redmi note 4, so huge shift for me. I also dont play games. So, my opinion might be one sided.

Hi, got my s20 fe 5g last week, and seems perfect. I saw few vidoes which say you need to have screen protector while others say you don't. I also noticed very tiny bubble at lower end of screen. So, should I fix screen protector?
Thanks
