In India the company kinsound sells it in amazon website. I am using that and I don't feel any loss in the spund quality.

If you get in country, search it via amazon of the country you are currently residing.

I've been using the 256GB/8GB RAM (mint green Snapdragon 865) for a few months now. It's a pretty good device for it's price (540 euro a few months ago). It does have some cons:
                - no 3.5mm jack = nightmare experience
                - gorilla glass 3 display will scratch very easily
                - I really miss WQHD+ display - FHD sux!
                Pros:
                - SD card slot (my favorite feature)
                - very good battery life
                - no overheating

                  1.Switch off accidental touch settings.
                  2. Choose only LTE mode in network mode.

I had this phone for about 8 months now and I'm frustrated with issues.
Performance, camera, battery are all good but I have 2 major issues that top me from continue using this phone.
                    1. Time to time, I get accidental touch notification where I'm not touching the screen at all. Just annoying sometimes.
                    2. It disconnect from Mobile network time to time specially when I leave my home WiFi network. This is intermittent but when it happens, it's super annoying and I ended up using my old iPhone XR as main phone now.
Anyone is also having above 2 issues with their S20 FE 5G?

LeoF, 04 Jul 2023S21fe is the next option it still has few Android OS update... moreI agree on of these comments about edge 40. Using it for last 10 days or so, viva magenta looks so premium.

Battery does need twice charging daily if you are using it as hotspot/heavy internet usage etx. But charging takes half an hour from 20-80% which is great.

Samsung s20 fe 5g had much better UI and lots of themes and customisation, edge seems very limited in that sense, but it's at lower price too, so can't complain about it.

If u r using 2 sims, one has to be converted to esim. I found esim speeds less for my Airtel in Mumbai, so shifted back to physical sim only.

btw anyone knows where to sell old used phones apart from exchange on amazon/flipkart or cashify etc?

MrNightC, 29 Jun 2023What are the alternatives to it? Realme GT 2 is also around... moreS21fe is the next option it still has few Android OS updates and

Few yrs of Security Patch updates,, Recently news was that Samsung is launching SD888 version in India,, It's completely your choice,, the current S21FE has Exynos 2100 Version 2.0 ,, which is better than orginal Exynos 2100,, Just do your research while making your purchase,, Even Motorola is good brand,, as it doesn't have bloatware and doesn't have any ads, people may suggest moto edge 40,, There are lots of pros and cons as well

Pros are it's absolutely best for its price almost a Flagship level,,

                            First of all Budget Friendly

Best display,, It's curved n P OLED with 144hz refresh rate ,,depends on personal preferences,,(Peak brightness 1200 compared to S20 fe 5g)

Balanced Processor with no heating issues (S20 fe 5g heats up a lot while charging n performing heavy tasks)

                            Improved Cameras

                            IP68 rating

                            Stereo Speakers

It's has its own version of Dex(not as optimised as Samsung)

                            Those were the Pros.

                            CONS-

P OLED /Curved Screen ,, Tempered glass not easily available, if display cracks, Very Expensive Screen replacement

                            No memory Card Slot

Main Camera doesn't have option to record 4k 60fps

USB type C Otg supports 2.0 instead of 3.1 USB

Motorola is very slow providing updates,, over that this model only recieves 2 Android OS upgrades and 3yrs security patch updates

Finally something no one ever mentions Clearly, Though this model is advertised as a dual sim,, it only supports 1 physical sim card and the other is Esim,,

Disclaimer - I don't own this device but have had hands on experience of this device , so I'm able to share my experience,,

I don't know how it performs as a daily driver ,, GAME testing not done with no heavy usage , SOT is 6-8hrs with moderate daily app usage, the person who owns the device says he has to charge every 1.5 days,, (it's 1.5months old device)

Anyone had glance on custom rom for this device. I personally feel that oneui is made heavy from 5.1 update.

The value for time is not decent considering charging time, few lags here and there affecting multi tasking.

s35ym., 01 Jul 2023Samsung is ok for my usage. In case of non Samsung, then... moreThese devices are mediocre at best. Well, it seems you searched for vivo devices under 20k on google and pasted the results here. Before referring smartphone to others, please gain some knowledge of smartphones first. And one more thing, only hardware of the smartphone doesn't matter, software also matters. Almost all chinese brand smartphones have aggressive data collection techniques, for example, search enhanced intelligent services in settings of the oppo and OnePlus smartphones and you will know what I am talking about, and that option is on by default. Samsung also has aggressive data collection techniques but only in A, F and M series smartphones but Samsung gives option to not accept those terms when setting up the device. Nothing, Motorola, Samsung S, Note, Flip and Fold series and Google Pixel devices doesn't have aggressive data collection techniques. But now motorola is owned by Lenovo, I don't trust it that much but it is still better than Oppo Poco Loco Popo, Vivo Pivo etc. Google tracking can be truned off in in the Google Account settings.
