Anonymous, 07 Nov 2022Yeah I do not totally ignore this either. As for a matter, ... moreYes, means given a choice, one should go for wired devices only rather than wireless.
In terms of BT devices, they stop working once the distance between phone and device increases above a certain value meaning the radiations are having less power/intensity as compared to the the ones used by cellphones where they practically remain same for longer distances.
So, in a way, cellphone radiations are Potentially more harmful than BT ones? Now with the 5G where if you are directly connected to source tower, without any construction like apartments in between, the speed is more.
Even if you are not using phones, you are surrounded by these networks forever. We will come to know effects after some decades only, if any.

Dial *#0011# and see (select SIM 2 or 2). Even netmonster app is good (location access is compulsory).

eli, 07 Nov 2022yeah i too think bluetooth is a wiser option as we can kee... moreYeah I do not totally ignore this either. As for a matter, I'm for a middle ground. Phones and accessories need to be certified by regional authority. If they are, they're are officialy safe. (max SAR is set way above any direct health impact) Then if you go deeper into this, it's recommended to have some lower SAR values device, reduce sustained usage of phone on ear etc. due to POTENTIAL long-term health impact. BT headphones should emit even lower radiation. Conclusion? I'm not trying to tell the one and only. Everybody can choose own ways or how careful wants to be. Personally I do look at SAR when picking phone, or choose loudspeaker for long calls here and there, so as said no extremes. I see BT headphones as okay (and yes it's less than phone in a way) but since I have such rare hi-tech as 3.5mm jack (A52s), no rush to have them either.

as we can keep phone few inches away from us while on a call
bluetooth should have lesser heath impact than the cell phone itself
also we are all surrounded by radiations all around us.... too many phones, bluetooth watch headphones, smart tags, wifi, microwave, etc etc.
so how much to think ;-)

Yet that's not known or proven completely, but we have some limits of exposure that are considered safe short-term. BT headphones have low radiation compared to phones. Search for more or wait for more opinions though, I'm still a wired person tbh.

Donz, 07 Nov 2022Adb methods look interesting. Will check it out. I tried it, mobile does feel little smoother afterwards and battery seems to last longer.
Also created bixby routines, to turn off mobile data when connected to WiFi.

https://www.reddit.... moreI have disabled or put most of the unwanted apps to deep sleep and some other battery saving steps .
Will try the adb steps from the above link after doing some research ( I see that light sensor eating around 4% of my battery as mentioned there)

Unreserved Nick, 05 Nov 2022I was thinking of buying the kindsound adapter suggested by... moreIt was an issue with Micro usb
Microusb ports do get loose, especially on Chinese phones. On Samsung they even microusb ports lasted much longer.
With USB C, it's the cable plug that gets loose over time even so it lasts longer than a microusb cable so you don't have to worry about it. At most cleaning the port carefully with a pin does the trick or Just replace the cable/accessory that plugs in.

Unreserved Nick, 04 Nov 2022This phone's brightness is very low especially during ... moreRight, the max brightness is not enough considering it a flagship.
Also, another issue with this device is it's auto brightness
Specially indoors, if light source falls directly on screen, it simply increases the brightness more than usual and as soon a if we turn a bit, it lowers immediately
At many times I need to manually adjust brightness which is simply annoying and gives headache
The reason is this phone doesn't comes with a dedicated light and proximity sensor and uses it's front camera for these stuffs
Which is simply stupid
Samsung could have easily managed to give sensors as this phone has bezels to accomodate it.
Also, during calls sometimes screen lights up and gives accidental touch. Although this is less frequent manageable.

Unreserved Nick, 05 Nov 2022I was thinking of buying the kindsound adapter suggested by... moreI would frankly suggest go for original Samsung type c to 3.5 mm adapter.
It got it from Samsung shop for around 600 inr and i think it works best with this phone.
Although I use Bluetooth headphones primarily now but that adapter gives good output.
I have heard other adaptos like OnePlus don't work with this phone.
Don't go for any thrid party ones either.
Also I would suggest it's better to invest a bit more and go for a decent Bluetooth headphone as you can easily get them even in 1000-1500 range and they are quite convenient
As in wired ones you'll have to use an adaptor and a wired headset, if one of the point has a loose connection, it would hamper the audio aur mic quality.

Donz, 05 Nov 2022Does anyone use 3.5mm headphones ?
If yes, can you tell m... moreI was thinking of buying the kindsound adapter suggested by Sudhakar but i frequent plugging may damage the slot, i had similar experience with my earlier mi note 4, hence bought boult zcharge bluetooth headphones. They are working good from last 1 month or so.
Also, just recently started using 2 sims for checking network speeds, the battery capacity seem to have reduced to 70% , seems dual sim usage not possible.
