also the HDR in camera is not yet fixed
when clicking daylight photos, it does not give an HDR tag, though in videos it shows HDR10+

So bought this yesterday... I was waiting last 6 months for X80, then our Tv broke last week, had to cut phone budget... I would have still gone for it, if it was a complete package. Anyway, didn't check everything in my s20fe5, but I find it a good overall phone. If not X80, my other choices were a52s & this. I got a small discount, so I bought it instead of a52s.
Phone's new, came with android 12, April made. I must say I'm not a fan of this UI. It's simple and relatively clean looking , bought my mother a samsung last year for this reason. But, I find it a little bit bland. I wouldn't describe it as beautiful or cool, but still effective. The phone's good looking through, got the mint. metal bazel looks premium compared to a52s, personally I wouldn't care enough to pay extra for looks alone, but it's Nice...
I would have preferred the audio jack, thus a52s. But I use wireless headphones ever since my last phone's jack had severe problems. My personal reasons to buy this over a52s are, 1• Better details in photos 2• Dex ( haven't checked yet, waiting for Tv)
I prefer the IP rating, even 67 of a52s is good enough, X80 not having it is what made the decision making difficult, along with the price tag of 256gb. I was willing to sacrifice everything for low light photos. I would say the Tv situation made it easy for me to finally make a choice. Video recordings are good, 3X telephoto decent. Front camera photo & video good. some people say this phone heats up, but If other people are managing sd888, then I'm pretty sure I can manage sd865. I don't play graphics intense games on mobile. overall seems pretty good. Also samsung's promises of security & support, though I wouldn't bet on it.
don't care much about screen as long as it's good and
stuffs like wireless charging, speaker volume etc.
I do need to see the battery performance...

Moto edge 30 with lesser price has almost same features as this one, except for IP rating and wireless charging, memory card slot. Is it a better buy for new buyer?

Hello, when connect to usb-c hub with hdmi to pc screen dex shows only in 1080p can't change to wqhd 2560x1440.
What can i do?

Dial *#0011# (when using mobile data... moreSamsung Galaxy A52s does support carrier aggregation. The phone is super fast and fluid and awesome battery backup. No wonder by now everbody considers A52s is the best A-series phone ever made. Its successor A53 comes with crappy Exynos Soc, no audio jack, no charger in box.
128GB inbuilt memory is enough for me, so I can use two SIMs in the hybrid SIM slot. The phone is quite unique looking in the Mint color and the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC with 8GB RAM provides ample power. Their are no jitters or stutters in this phone and the heavy Samsung OneUI 4.1 over Android 12 just feels like butter smooth.
Main camera has OIS and takes the best quality shots I have ever expereinced on a INR 25K phone. Very satisfied with this phone, its a complete VFM phone just like S20FE 5G.

Dial *#0011# (when using mobile data) and tell me (select sim 1 or 2).
There is dual SIM adaptor. But if you fix that, there will be a gap between the SIM tray and the body. Water will enter. If you are careful, you can use that.

I feel that the bass level in S20 FE 5G and A70 is lesser than the old Samsung models A9 pro 2016 and Note 4.

This was for the 8/128 GB memory variant. After a decade of staying away from Samsung, it came as a nice surprise to me at how good a Samsung midranger can be. There were offers recently on S20FE 5G @ INR 30K on Amazon, but it lacked the headphone jack a must for me.
I am really surprised for its price, A52s is a real value for money phone and provides a complete balance between hardware, software and battery backup. I found the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G on A52s to be very powerful when coupled with 8GB RAM and the SoC sips battery rather than drinking it. Great battery backup on this phone.
Audio quality and gain through the headphone jack was a nice surprise, I did not expect Samsung to preserve the analogue audio quality like it did with their old flagships (Snapdragon versions) over audio jack. Qualcomm's audio codec chips have a wonderful DAC if tuned properly and fed with ample power. I feel the audio jack can push a max of 1 Vrms output which was Samsung's standard way back.
But then Samsung's A-series are their cash cows on a global level. The level of attention the company poures over this series on both hardware and software cannot be matched with their M-series & F-series phones.

If battery drain do 2 things
1) Always off 5g signal, wifi scanning, gps.
2)keep mobile in optimised battery mode or switch to medium battery saving mode(if no use) & monitor app that using more battery, if found any app using more battery just disable notifications &pop-up notifications

But if you don't care about headphone jack and an extra software update, then you may consider S20 fe 5g
It is way better in every aspect.
