and while you can't log in to google apps on recent Huawei phones, you can have the apps running on those phones, for example Google Maps or Street View;
in fact, i wish my other phones could run the Petal Maps, bcoz they may lack some details at the moment, but the Petal map hows speed limits on the roads that are along your route, traffic lights and how many traffic lights there are....over all, i have better user experience with Petal Maps than Google Maps while navigating

Since android is Linux based so huawei has aslo established its os on Linux. Any company can do it but would lack the googles play services gapps pack.
Yes since your ultra is snapdragon version so yeah it's good. Unfortunately we only have exynos version of it.

and no, my own S20Ultra does stay quite cold, unless supercharging, then it gets warm, but i checked it with a IR camera, the temperature is comparable to my other phones while they charge;
the current problem with Samsung is not the hardware, look up their forum, same model has problems that other users don't have, it's all about the software....
except yesterday i discovered that the finger print scanner works quite well , unlike i before, bcoz there is one thing that other phones allow and this does not,
in any other phones - it doesn't matter how you put the finger on, the phone can be on it's side or up side down, but not for the S20 series, you need to put the finger on exactly as you did when you were saving the fingerprint.... so yea, finger ID on S20 series is crap, not bcoz of the ultrasonic scanner, but boz of crappy programming 😅

Unfortunately Samsung has launched s20 line up in two versions sd and exynos shit. In our country and in majority of the countries they have sold and still selling this exynos crap. It heats like hell and the battery is too poor. In todays era Samsungs official portal suggests things which make us feel like the era of fro yo and gingerbread, like keep Bluetooth off, GPS off, kill the apps you aren't using and yeah it sounds hilarious. What's the fun of a smartphone when it's functionality is restricted due its its inability to make a usage of a day.

Anonymous, 30 May 2021Even s21s has an overheating issue by the way.S20Ultra, no overheating, focus on cameras didn't work at night only, but that got fixed few months ago, aside from that, i have no beef with the hardware, it's just the software is crap

This phone replaces my excellent S7 Edge. For my application however I find the S20 Ultra to be superior in virtually every way. My one regret trivial though it may be is the absence of a flashing LED or icon of some sort to indicate a received call, email or message. Why this useful feature was omitted on the S20 Ultra is a mystery. Predicated on the notion that someone involved with Samsung might read these posts I think this omission might despite the reason for same might be corrected in a software update.

I took my time to research a bit to conclude wether it's perfect to buy s20 line up or not. To sum it up whatever I have observed through comments s20 line up is a failure. Exynos in particular.
All these devices have a common issue that's battery drainage and over heating.
So called ultra has an additional flaw for its ultra camera set up and that's focusing issues.
Samsung has adopted the LGs path where users were screaming for issues to be fixed but LG didn't pay any heed. My friends cousins and the people who own s20 line up phones are unhappy. Most of them have put their devices on sale for almost 50% off of the cost of their invoice bill. If Samsung doesn't address the issues then only God can save them.
For me what's left are xiaomi and oneplus. Probably the rog 5 as well if it attracts my attention.

krissy, 28 May 20214G+ ( 'LTE Advanced') offers a speed up to 450mbp... moreHmmm probably it's the service provider's fault and not the devices flaw not to have the best transmission slots available. For example where I live and currently have a 4g+ coverage statewide but rendered the transmission speeds less than 10MBPS. It simply doesn't imply that lte plus carriers are useless but my operator definitely is. Same is in your case having less transmission over 5g doesn't make it useless.
