I already did everything to avoid it like using blackwallpaper and low brightness all the time. Ahh burn screen problems are pretty common to talked about in some forum I've followed. Indeed even their newer device would get it eventually

just got the may security update.
camera focus problem solved 90 percent using photo mode.
however it still needs some improvement on video mode.
at least samsung is doing something to make it up to consumers.
I know you guys are not satisfied with sammy this year but..
next year exynos 1000 5nm with Rdna GPU is on the way.
if it is that good which already popped up on some benchmarks that would be the
revolution android users were waiting until now.
Cheers.

I stopped buying Samsung products after I bought the s8. My galaxy s8 has screen burn in on the status bar after 6 months I went back to the shop and the lady told me its an inherant problem with galaxy s8 basically if you own a s8 it's more likely to get screen burn than not. I started reaching the problem online found out alot of people were co. Playing about s8 screen failures. This remi dwd me back to 2007 when I bought a 40 Samsung tv that only lasted for a year before it also developed screen failure. I googled s9 and S10 screen burn in found out 65% of those hade screen burn in and some had it soo bad the whole screen was pink. When I heard the s20ultra was snouncrd I was on the Internet telling people not to buy it because samsung has unreliable amo led screens. People thought I was a apple sheep il not I have a iohine 6 but I also have a xz2 which is my main driver right now I use my iPhone 6 when my xz2 is charging. Anyway basically what I'm saying is Samsung started out as this cute litte Korean brand back in 1940s I think that would try and sell you a TV or dvd player for 30% cheaper than Sony, Panasonic and Sharp back in the 90s to now a big giant that rushes products and software and charges more than sony and Apple. As such Samsung has got too big to care about its customers complaints. Samsung knew the s20ultra wasn't ready for release but they didn't want to miss out on its yearly cycle to close the gap on apple, make more money and put on a bull crap marketing campaign about moon lens zoom and powerful camera quality. Everything in the s20 is faulty the auto focus is too slow and recording in 8k is jerky no video stability. The phone screen has screen burn in already just like s8 s9 and S10. The camera zoom lens is apauling blury quality. S20ultra screen also has a greenish ugly tint which loads of ppl are complaining about also.
Samsung used its own camera sensors instead of using Sony tried and tested sensors. Samsung were inexperienced to manufacture sensors and its has hardware faults so the camera can't be fixed because its not software related.

The camera focusing issue o... moreOnly victory for Exynos is in camera department.
It lags behind Snapdragon in battery life and performance.
Not to forget the thermal throttling associated with Exynos which dials its performance down to Last year's SD855.

I had the phone for 3 weeks. It was fast, had great battery life. But the cons were to many for a 1600 price. The main reason I returned it was the weight. It my wrists hurt after a long phone call. It would fall off my magnetic car mount. I have have to wait on the s20 5g on Verizon. But thats what I plan on getting and it will fix most of my major issues.

The camera focusing issue only on snapdragon variant of S20 ultra not in Exynos variant plus the HDR are better on Exynos variant, snapdragon just a hype as I thought exactly.

despite all the bad news out there if you should ever going to buy the ultra guys you should go for the sm-9880 variant.
you know why ? because I bought one.not on purpose.
but quiet surprised when I had a glance at the sim tray.
its sd865 with 5G dual hybrid sim slot, the one only unique version which you may only order online.
I am having 2 sim cards plus a memory card running at same time.
if you want a camera phone go for p40 pro.
I can assure you main camera sucks.
the selfie camera is quiet good though.
if you want gaming phone I have to tell you with 120hz refresh rate and 12 gigs of ram only iPad pro may compete with this baby.cheers !

I think for the price I will stick with my S10e. It is compact, does almost everything the s20 does a few micro-seconds slower except the camera of course. Compare the two and there isn't much to be upset about missing unless you like a bigger phone. https://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=9537&idPhone2=10040
