most expensive and most disappointing device ever bought. Feels like it is not a finished product. Most frustrating is the fingerprint reader which most of the times doesn't work.
Never had any issues with my galaxy s8 so regret it that I trade it.

My S20 Ultra 5G sometimes is getting slightly hot when I'm downloading movies , using the zoom of the camera or after I updated my phone !!! Is it normal ???

iv, 26 Mar 2020well the autofocus problem now is fixed..well done samsungI would really like Samsung to remove the icon shape option from the developer settings and put it in the display settings instead where it will be easier to access for everyone and finally get rid of that useless stupid theme store;-icon shape changer will be a thousand times better in the display settings

So the camera is a hardware issue? On both versions? Also what's the difference in battery perfentage between exynos and snapdragon? Is that a terrible battery on exynos?

Optical gives you best clarity and digital will look like crap. 100x zoom is hybrid mostly digital actually which means it crops out the pictures. This is the reason 108MP is used for 100X zoom. I think S20 Ultra can only do upto 10X optical zoom if I'm not wrong. If you ask this is useless feature and so does the 16GB ram on a Smartphone.

Worst Samsung phone in the last 10 years. The camera is absolutely horrible, a gimmick, the 120hz bugs apps like Chrome and Instagram where touch is not registered and you have to close them and open them again. I do like the shape of the screen since it doesn't have the pointless curved edge. This phone makes me want to go and use an Apple product, yes, that's how bad it is.

what is "Hybrid Zoom" I guess is using both electric and petrol fuel, but it would be better to be more specific rather letting us guessing.

The zooming does go bad after a certain range and at 100x its not very clear already for one thing. However, zooming capabilities was enhanced so people can specifically lock on a certain location without sacrificing quality much. Some would coin it as spy but its to pinch zoom on something that might be interesting though its quite niche function.
The main focus or worry is the 2 different chipset Samsung is bent on using.
The Exynos one (which i was using) heats up almost a few times on the following types of apps; 1 image enhancers or selfie enhancer, 2 gaming including Harry Potter, 3 Interswitching between photos, videos and texting.
I'm not sure of the snapdragon one but it seems MrWhosetheBoss did point out this correctly. Myself after 2 weeks of usage, battery level don't stay 100% for 30mins unlike compared to my other phones, in fact, 100% for 1st 3 mins, then it kept dropping 1% per 8minutes with not much heavy draining apps on.
For those who are keen to try, do have the following apps installed and test it out yourself.

I think ppl are getting carried away with this zoom feature but I blame Samsung for the false advertising commercial where it zoomed into a man in a hot air balloon and the man's face could be seen perfectly how fake. Samsung had no ideas for this phone so they just went on a spec number war 16gb ram which is crazy BTW the phone will work exactly the same with 6gb. This phone has poor indoor photo quality and bad autofocus leading to blury photos those are more disturbing than the low zoom feature to me.
