Got it! perfect size! Feels like coming home. Now coming down from several 6.6-6.7" rangers, with the downside of size and weight. Just could not go S range with curved screens.
The reason to consider the small s21 was the weight and the flat screen. I hope the overall sensible optimizations, that are incorrectly put down as downgrades, remain in this class. Compact do everything that's fast... and maybe at some time with a 10x optical zoom.
Maybe I'll even ditch the TPU case, depending on grip testing. Note 10 lite was just to slippery without a case, adding to the bulk.

Most people buy Samsung for the SAMOLED Display .But all along time Samsung has allways had 1440p Display on s-series since s6 . What does S21 5g have better than S20 5g ? S20 5g has 1440p display 60hz if you whant quality , 1080 120hz if you whant gaming , 12gb ram . S21 only has better cpu and bigger price .
I don t say 1080p is low quality per general for a smartphone . 1080p is good for A-series for a budget or a medium price not for a

Last year’s cameras, a lower-resolution display lacking in curvature, no MST support, no expandable storage, no headphones, no charger, plastic back, the now "mid ranger" Galaxy S21 is really a let down. I'll pass on this one. Next year S22 can't be worse than that...

At first I thought it was a camera app issue, but same kept happening on video calls in other apps. It'd just go pink or get lines, or half image wasn't showing... but that was software issue and last patch today seems to have fixed it, works like charm now, and pics are coming out great.

And for "every Samsung phone" after the S10 Lite from what I have experienced. My S8 doesn't have that problem, obviously because it was released before the S10 Lite, just like your S10.
Sometimes I really wonder what kind of thought process some people go through here....

I've had my Galaxy S21 5G for four days now and I can report that it is nothing short of amazing. The 120HZ AMOLED screen is a pleasure to look at. The camera is incredible, especially the night mode setting. The size of the phone is perfect for one hand operation. When I watched the launch of the phone I was quite disappointed to be honest, but I somehow got the phone at a ridiculously low price on an online marketplace in South Africa, and I am in awe of this phone. The performance, battery and overall feel deserve 5 stars in my opinion.

Please check your facts before posting meaningless rubbish or do you just hate Samsung? I have had my s10 since September 2019 and it is a great phone.

Had my S21 for 2 days now, it is an amazing handset! Built is perfect as usual, size and weight are perfect too for someone wanting to move away from BIG phones, it is fast like very fast! Plastic back is unnoticeable. It is even better than I could dream of. And with discount for pre order and trade-in, it was very very affordable!! And the phone wasn't made in China. Thank you Samsung!
