So I replace the screen with other brand (for about USD 72), but this new screen is not good. It fails to read fingerprint 9x in 10 attempts.
That's it. I'm done with Samsung, so I bought Xiaomi Poco F7 to replace my S21 FE.

After my S21 FE got vertical white line & the original screen replacement is not available in the official service center, I bought Xiaomi Poco F7, which is much cheaper than S25 FE but has better spec (12 GB RAM, 512 GB storage, Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, and 90W wired charging).

Installed UI8 Android 16.. now my mobile shows a vertical yellow line on the screen.. rebooted and played with display contrast.. not fixed.. i took to samsung care and was told that the screen needs to be replaced costing 125 USD.. I see in the commentsvthat many other owners are getting the same problem.. I think that samsung should start a free screen replacement program as they did in India in 2024 for the same priblem.

yesterday got yellow line on screen while watching screen. last update september 30, no recent update installed still got this issue for no reason. last samsung mobile and last mid range phone. better to use low end mobile and throw away once it's done.

I've been using this phone for 2 years and 3 months. I never dropped it to the floor nor drowned it into the water. I always update the system and just got the One UI 7 on September 30th.
Then on October 23rd, while I'm looking at the screen, suddenly a white vertical line appeared at the center of it. I read from some online forum that this problem happens to the S series quite often.
Initially, I planned to buy the S25 FE, but canceled the plan after learning that issue.

No bad things happen, and mind you I'm not babysitting the device at all. Lol i even wash my phone frequently, take it with me at the pool and nothing happen. Always on display is always ON, adaptive brightness all the times, High refresh rate unless i battery saving.

Today S21 FE get Android 16 with One UI 8 at Turkey. No screen issues, waiting for One UI 8,5. :)

I had green lines on my S21. So far no problem with my S21 FE from Thailand which just got One UI 8...

Well this not an opinion but a correction. This phone never got the one ui6.1 and will never get it according tl Samsung so that detail on the spec sheet should be corrected.

I have S21 fe for 2,5 years and i don't have any problems. I will keep it at least for 3 more years.

This Phone is now heating up when am playing E FOOTBALL, I am now getting 2hrs SOT when playing games, battery is not holding up, I am using SD version, I think it is time to Upgrade, It has been a decent Phone

The finger print unlock lags like hell a... moreNo real issues like this for me so far. Fingerprint login is snappy, almost always.
Camera sometimes takes a second or two to load, or to switch modes though.

Midrange phone...everything ok but time to upgrade. I changed it for S25 Edge 512 GB same weight and real flagship.
