At the beginning, my battery also drained very fast, but now, after a month and a major update, I can get through the day with one charge and I charge it at 85%, since the battery protection is active. Also I do gaming, about one hour daily. Only issue is that if you play a game for too long, the device will overheat and will drain the battery fast so if anyone is a serious gamer and wants to stay a lot on the phone, then this is not the best choice, it's for casual gaming only.

This phone has a very bad battery life because the lack of adaptive screen refresh rate. I average 5hours SOT without any gaming. I recommend you looking at that mi 12 instead.

There is something wrong with this phone, the battery drains fast, real fast. I can only get around 4 hours of use and have to charge everyday.

Mi 12X or S21 FE?
Conditions:
-I don't game so much
-But I like to shoot photos, videos & edit them in my smartphone.
-Charging the phone daily for 1 hour is no problem but any more than that will be a pain for me.
Overall, I just want a phone with the best video quality, camera features & faster video rendering speed to edit my videos.
Please help me out!

Heheheh, 18 May 2022Exynos version is bad get the snap dragon version The Exynos version is not bad at all. Look at the S21/S21+ reviews. I repeat, to have a good use of Exynos version, you must do a factory reset after the Oneui 4.1 update.

Strictly NOT RECOMMENDES FOR GAMING.
SD888 drains the battery fast and no fast chargng relative to competitors. U will play 20mins PUBG and will be running to find charger which is also max 15w supported.
Best optionS check xiaomi 12x SD870 fast chargng light weight, oneplus 9RT etc

However, in the notes, it did not say anything about improving battery life in this update. But yes, the phone seems more stable, less overheating and some life extra in the battery. Actually, it lasted a full 24 hours yesterday in my normal use, which did not happened before. What really hurts it is a long gaming session, meaning over 20 minutes....then the overheating is unavoidable and the battery drains very fast.

I just bought it for a week.
Battery life is so bad, and I don't even play any games at all. This phone always overheating...
Mine comes with Exynos.
