Android phones make transferring files easy, you want to transfer anything that can be done through an SD card, just transfer by connecting to or from the device being transferred to/ from. I get that its a nice feature to have expandable storage, but, again, removing it increases the space inside the phone even if the phone doesn't change in size. An SD card is almost twice as big as a microSIM, so removing the SD functionality allows for more room inside the phone for cooling, battery size, or whatever.

What i do mind however is the removal of the SD card slot.

iam samsug user from 2010 , my first device is samsung galaxy core,2nd galaxy j7, 3rd galaxy note 3 neo,4th samsung s9 plus , iam very satisfyed with samsung customer care and service centres etc , now iam planing to buy a new mobile , but samsung ‘s due to over pricing iam unable to get any flagship modles , that’s why iam changing my plan to one plus . i need fast charging, iam a heavy user, samsung s9 plus iam charging a day 3 times, every thing is best expect fast charging.. samsung team u people need to improve fast charging, that’s it thanks.

Removing the headphone jack, if I remember correctly, increased the note 10+ battery size by 300mah. Thats a nice trade off considering Samsung still bundled Type-c earbuds with the phone.
