you have to check the build number; SM-G9980..
if so he's telling the truth..
guess you should go for the uk variant although exynos sucks not sure if you may get a warranty for a Taiwanese phone in UK.

It a lose-lose situation in Europe: you either get inferior Exynos or you get SD with no warranty.

Hi All..need some help with all awesome techies here.
Im about to buy Samsung S21 Ultra, 16gb ram, 512 gb memory, made in Taiwan, UK version and the model number is SM-G998B/DS.
The retailer told me its snapdragon chipset but as far as i know samsung only has snapdragon chipset on US and china version.
Can someone help me.. if this model is really snapdragon or Exynos chipset.

The worst phone camera i've ever used is a lot of noise, even in high light same thing in the video the camera bad, like a $100 phone vipration motor is It's not stable, although I've reduced its power, but in some clicks, its degree changes alarmingly, and the temperature is also rising without any resons, and also the battery live four or five hours in normal use.

please don't buy this phone. The hype was all about the camera and most interesting thing is that you can't use camera even for 5 minutes. It heats up so quickly and is uncomfortable to hold. Samsung authorities told that upto 48°c its normal for s21 to heat up.

Anonymous, 20 Apr 2021Battery - Samsung curved the charging time well that it tak... moreheat on honkai impact3!? wow my nova 5t almost has no heat ups when i play extensive hours of gameplay matches (3-4 hours in my case and i only have 2 games COD mobile, & Honkai Impact 3) and i play CODM even more and the heating management is very very good for a 3 year old phone except on BR where it heats up after 2 hours of playing on any BR mode, but very normal temperatures on normal/rank mateches like i can play as my battery last (6 hours of rank matches) well its expected to an exynos chipset, its a ticking timebomb when you play games on it, of course SD888 is still the best though.

Battery - Samsung curved the charging time well that it takes 1.5 hours to fully charge from 0% even with 25W. My phone is usually at 35% when I come back home from work.
Heating - I use Exynos 21 Ultra, and sometimes I play Impact3 (not heavily tho; I'm busy working). It does heat up, but I haven't had any problem with overheating (warm instead of hot). Maybe I'm lucky? idk
Weight - It is a HEAVY phone... I had to buy a phone case with a kickstand attachment for YouTube (Ironically it added MORE weight).
Camera - Awesome as I expected
Display - QHD and 120Hz is awesome. I can't go back to 60Hz anymore. The change is kind of noticeable after few months of usage. 60Hz feels choppy now; it's weird how eyes adapt to the new condition.
I love this phone so far, but I wouldn't recommend it to everyone.

bought my s21 ultra exynos 1 month ago. so far no prob in day to day use. moving from iphone 12 pro max, the ecosystem felt more liberating. no regret at all. happy user.
