Motorola Edge 20 is 6.7 and weights as low as 163 which is pretty impressibe
So it's possible but they probably can't do it on the S because of their cameras. I assume that's what makes them so heavy

Chic, 02 Feb 2022For me, the Ultra is just too big & heavy for a mobile ... moreI understand that
With phones becoming bigger and bigger finding a light phone will be hard tho you can find ones like the basic S21 is 169 and according to gsm S22 will be 167 so looks like there are still some around

Chic, 02 Feb 2022& Samsung, what's with the colors this year? Pink?... moreI agree
I remember when the Note 10 came out in my town, after roughly a year all except the pink ones were sold out
They need to stick to black, white, red and blue

& Samsung, what's with the colors this year? Pink? Can we please have a more unisex color like purple for the S22+? Dun find any of the colors appealing at all, & coupled with the poor resolution, weight & lack of SD card, I may be forced to embrace other brands after being a loyal Samsung user for a decade :(

Narazumono, 31 Jan 2022I would recommend for you to get the S21 Ultra The price ... moreFor me, the Ultra is just too big & heavy for a mobile phone I carry ard all the time, plus anything above 200g (actually below 180+g is ideal imo) is actually very exhausting to hold for long usage. That's why I'd never consider the Ultras, even though they have top notch specs, until & unless they can get the weight down.

Anonymous, 27 Jan 2022I'm interested in buying this phone when it comes out ... moreI would recommend for you to get the S21 Ultra
The price has gone down so it will be cheaper than the S22 Plus
The S21 Ultra is way better and has all the features that Samsung only limits on the Ultra variant. The normal and Plus versions of the phone are basically lite versions with stripped features and worse screens
I would say even the Snapdragon S20 Ultra is better than this, unfortunately you get the Exynos versions. Exynos 990 is awful

Action.Pretty, 31 Jan 2022What is the use of a glass back? oh yes I remembered: finge... moreGlass unlike plastic is scratch resistant meaning it won't scratch from you putting the phone on the table or in your pockets
I have owned 4 glass phones (Samsung A3 (2016), A5 (2017), S6 and currently an htc U11) and none of them are broken. I don't drop my phones or toss them in a fit of rage but i don't baby them either to carefully put them on the table so they don't scratch
My dad has an A32 that he's only been using for 3 months and the back already looks disgusting with all the scratches

Action.Pretty, 31 Jan 2022What is the use of a glass back? oh yes I remembered: finge... morehmmmm...you say so... First of all you will have cracked glass if you do have problems with ur hands. Second fingerprints can be cleaned and the best for the last: glass is more like premium fell and plastic is cheap and feels like a toy and specialy that samsung plastic.

Wasir, 31 Jan 2022Only 10MP😒😒!! Very low selfie camera quality. It was not... moreYou may not know, but the 10MP sensor on the S10-S22 are much better than the 32 MP sensors on the FE and other Android flagships and midrangers. This has dual pixel autofocus, literally all except a few phones don't even have any type of AF on their selfie cameras. Plus bigger pixel size, which means better low light performance.

Also, most of the phones with 32MP front cameras use pixel binning, so the output is going to be even less resolution than the 10MP sensor found on this phone. Samsung, Apple & Google are one of the few manufacturers that actually care about selfie cameras.

Have you seen the selfie cameras on Xiaomi and OnePlus flagships? They're dogs*** compared to the ones on Samsung, Google & Apple phones.

Seeking for a new adventure...My next stop,Sony Xperia,of course,after the dawn of my s20+.

Samsung, what's with the display resolution downgrade?!? 1080 x 2340, 390 ppi on a flagship phone is a disgrace! Even my S9+ from 2018 (1440 x 2960 529 ppi) trumps it! Notice that the resolution has been decreasing instead of increasing...dun treat us consumers like fools & suckers, paying sky-high prices for a flagship phone that does not have flagship specs. The display is 1 of the most important aspects of a phone, & it should be improving, not regressing!
