The same tray is being used for dual SIM cards ... somehow I think there is less of a market for people needing dual SIMs than those who want the flexibility and convenience of having microSD. Sure, cloud storage is where they want to push everyone but not everyone adopts cloud storage and also, you can't store apps or app data on the cloud. You can do so on microSDs.

OP's point is that they needed to scrap headphone jack & expandable storage to accommodate larger battery and sensors. LG V60 managed it just fine. The likes of Apple, Samsung etc. scrapped it to push wireless earphones and cloud storage subscription.

Where is the memory card slot? They don't learn there at Korea from mistakes like the S6? Complete and utter failure. Copy and paste from different products with different mentality. The only good thing they reduced the size to a reasonable device to hold in the hand. Maybe next one with micro sd and 155mm? It's a no go for me this time.

Most people now using bluetooth headphones so no need for 3.5mm jack. High charging speed will degrade battery faster and creates more heat than normal if you are using your phone while charging(that will degrade perfomance).

By the way there is no way to see difference between full hd and 4k on such tiny screen. Only difference 4k will suck juice from your phone faster.

Still have my S10 & planning to upgrade this year.... But being disappointed with the S20,21 & now 22. Im going for a different brand now like Sony as it still has jack,sdslot, optional 4k or just the 1080p this year.
