Samsung Galaxy S22 gets more than 70K pre-bookings in first 12 hours

Samsung India has revealed that it’s seen “overwhelming response” to the Samsung Galaxy S22 series. According to the phone maker, Pre-bookings (pre-orders) have exceeded 70,000 in the first 12 hours of going live on February 23. Samsung doesn't make clear whether it's the S22 base model or all models combined. Customers in India can currently pre-book the Galaxy S22 series through March 10 before the flagship officially goes on sale starting on March 11.

Customers who pre-book a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will receive a Galaxy Watch4 valued at INR 26999 for a discounted price of INR 2999. Those who pre-book a Galaxy S22 or S22+ will be eligible for a pair of Galaxy Buds 2 valued at INR 11999 for INR 999.

Galaxy S and Galaxy Note owners will receive an upgrade bonus of INR 8000 and all others will receive a INR 5000 bonus. Plus, those who opt to pay with Samsung Finance+ will be eligible for a INR 5000 cashback bonus.

Pre-bookings can be reserved from “leading retail outlets” along with Samsung Exclusive stores, Samsung online, and Amazon.In. The Galaxy S22 starts at INR 72999 for the base model 8GB+128GB version and goes all the way up to INR 118999 for the maxed-out Galaxy S22 Ultra with 12GB + 512GB.
