Sad my s22 ultra got the green line today, asked the service center and they quote me PHP 16950($290) end of an era. One of the best phone sucks samsung never fixed since s21

I still got this phone and will only upgrade for 2 to 3 more years. Battery is still superb as well as its performance and camera. I got Snapdragon - 512gb.

The January patch is rolling out on S22 series phones in some markets. EU market too, nothing on my device yet. Seems to be just some security fixes nothing special as we all wait for One UI 7. S24 FE got the patch as well.

I have had a phantom black S22 Ultra since October 2022. Since then, I have realised that it was a very poor investment, as it has very poor battery life and overheats frequently. There is also occasional lag; sometimes it slows down on the home screen. I cannot recommend this phone to anyone, even secondhand.

Not a good phone. Had it for a year (got it a few months after it released) and it was fine for the first month, but after the second month it started lagging and battery was horrible.

Getting similar SOT as you mentioned. Sometimes even better when at home under Wifi.
Lesser SOT with Mobile data (with good range)
& still lot lesser (if I am in an area with low network range)

The S23U and S24U have a better battery life. But for me it's fine, after more than 2,5 years I get around 6h screen on time. Though that drastically reduces when using mobile data instead of home WiFi of course.
