He finds it as an upgrade since iOS has less features and is not customizable compared to OneUI (even without the good lock app). Also, IP15 does not have a stylus pen. So in terms of features, yeah I would agree with him that it is an upgrade

Icons look worse, some annoying things like the battery indicator on the AOD, you can’t get rid of that. The Now Bar, not really much of use for me personally. But let’s wait and see till it arrives on our S22 Ultra.

The S22 Ultra is comparable t... moreSorry, but yes I agree that it is a massive upgrade. Look at the features and you’ll get a ton more on the S22 Ultra, not to mention that on the S22 Ultra you can actually make use of the size of the screen, instead of just having a big screen.
When a phone’s a year older it can still be an upgrade if it offers a lot more than the phone you upgrade from. Besides a dying battery isn’t a thing anymore if you come from a used phone and start using a brand new phone.

The S22 Ultra is comparable to the iPhone 13 Pro Max while the 15 PM is comparable to the S24 Ultra
You downgraded to a 3 year old phone with a dying battery and potentially ton of other issues

The only downside is the battery life which could've been better (not worse though).

Recently switched to S22 Ultra from iPhone 15 pro Max, though I need to get used to the android system I must admit this is an amazing upgrade all-round.
Now battery life not as good, but all the rest is a massive upgrade. I love the stylus, finally can use split screen on this big display. And the curved display is really feeling luxurious.

But then came S25 Ultra. They should have called it S25 Ultra Generic.

This phone has very fragile network flex cable. Other than that its ok.
