      Hey Everyone,

Please advice if it is still worth buying the galaxy note 20 ultra , rather than the S22 ultra 5G

As the main reason i like note 20 ultra over s22 ultra is because of memory card , which is missing in S22 ultra ??

Kindly advice whether it is worth buying Note 20 Ultra 5G in 2022 !! Or should i go for the S22 Ultra 5G instead ??

Dangie, 19 Apr 2022Thank you very much, your answer is very helpful, to be hon... moreThe 2 best Android phones are the S22 Ultra and Google's Pixel 6 Pro. If you want the best telephoto you can't go past the S22 Ultra. The S22 Ultra also provides the stylus which the Pixel does not have. Check out the link for a comparison of the cameras: https://www.tomsguide.com/face-off/samsung-galaxy-s22-ultra-vs-google-pixel-6-pro

I dont know what phone you currently have. If I was to buy, I would either hold off buying until the next iteration - ie the S23 Ultra or go for a heavily discounted or certified refurbished Note 20 Ultra in the interim and wait for the S23 Ultra for which I would be able to trade in the current phone. It all comes down to the cost. If you could get a Note 20 Ultra at about $550-$600 and trade up next year, you would recover the cost of the Note while getting a significantly better S23 Ultra than this year's S22 Ultra model which has been underwhelming relative to the price. Though the S22 Ultra is a great phone, it still has issues that will most certainly be addressed in the next iteration. If you dont need a stylus, take most photos close-up rather than distant zoom, then the Pixel is better for close in photos. It is also significantly cheaper than the S22 Ultra. Again check out the sample photos taken with both phones in the link above and decide for yourself which best meets your needs.

Nitesh, 20 Apr 2022Hitting issue and battery drain fastThe S22U has no heating issues. I had it on my car dash the other day, in the direct mid-day Australian sun, hot spotting 2 tablets from 4G for a few hours and it only reached around 42 degrees.

Below are some S22U phone and battery temperatures using the Samsung 15W wireless charger & Samsung 65W Trio Power adapter. I’ve tried to keep room temperatures etc as equal as possible. Temperature was measured using the “System Monitor CPU Ram Booster” app. I limit my battery charging to 85% as I’m at a desk 90% of the time.

                    Normal battery temp = 28 deg C, Phone = 31
                    Fast charging (25W) charge battery temp = 30 deg C, Phone = 32
                    Super fast charging (45W) charge battery temp = 31 deg C, Phone = 34
                    Normal wireless charge (7W) battery temp = 33 deg C, Phone = 36
                    Fast wireless charge (15W) battery temp = 38 deg C, Phone = 41

The interesting thing was that the super-fast 45W cable charging actually had a cooler battery and phone temperature than the slow 7W wireless charger.

The worst things in most new mobiles are expensive prices and non-removable batteries .

I see everyone else complaining that Xiaomi, etc. is better, but these devices are not sold in the US. Either way it doesn't matter, 90% of people will just buy iPhone 13 Pro instead if they have the money for this phone, unless they hate iOS or just would rather have android.

We were Lucky that Samsung Squeezed a 5000Mah in it with the S-Pen. We need to wait that the Battery Revolution comes then we don't need 6000-7000 in Phones. 4000-5000 would be Perfect then. 7000Mah.... Without making the Phone Thicker it is Impossible. The Problem of this phone is the Unoptimized UI and Android itself. I hope android 13 Helps the Battery More than Before and OneUi 5 too. The Main Focus needs to be Battery Life and Optimization. Because this Chip isn't Optimized Enough on Apps. We need to wait that the Phone Becomes Better until then we need to Use 60Hz to safe 30min- 1 Hour or even More.
