They moved the spen so the buttons were friendlier for right handed users, its literally an inch of extra travel.
You are describing the curved edges as a problem as if every note since the 7 hasnt had them bro. The note 9 youre using had them, your note 20 ultra had them, i would know, its my work phone, and this S phone has them. The ONLY "downgrade" is the lack of an sd card slot which i always admit is a shame but your biggest argument is the screen. If you want a flat screen Note im sure you can find an old Note 5 lying around somewhere for not a lot of money.

2) that's such a small complaint wtf, you'll be reaching with your other hand to grab the s-pen most of the time and you'll definitely get used to it

Doesn't make sense. Old ohone you could get away with no SD slot. Now, with 4k and UHD, SD card, extra memory, is a must! And they take it away!!!

Pre ordered mine, can't wait to get my hands on it when it arrives to upgrade from my A51. Definitely going to keep this for a long time. My A51 only left me wanting more out of a Samsung.

the s22 Ultra is a great device, but in my opinion its missing two things if they added would make it perfect.
- add the notification led back it wont add to the size its small and simple
- upgrade the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor so you can actually use a glass screen protector instead of risk breaking your screen because the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor only works good without a screen protector or with only a screen protector that wards off small scratches but if it ever falls on the floor it will break and cost you so much money, the rear fingerprint sensor on the note 9 etc is still superior in every way.
