They pretty much copying apple, you do remember them tea bagging apple when they removed 3.5mm jack with their ads then afterwards remove those ads since they followsuite. Also its more like technological regression removing functionality instead of keeping or adding more. Like older galaxy phones had iris sensors, bp sensor, ir sensor, barometer, etc. etc. that they removed later on that made it worth the price at that time. But now that phones are becoming more than $1k, the more they should keep or add features or functionality on it. Specially the shouldve been staple SD Card & 3.5mmjack.

Ppl defending low ram and NO SD-card are only because they are Samsung fanboys.
8gb ram is really not enough when you playing games and doing multi tasking, it will defiantly compromise performance ( I had s21 ultra and approx 8gb ram was always occupied while playing games+ multi tasking)
Secondly 128gb with the base model is completely garbage when shooting 8k videos and photos, upgrading to 512 to 1TB add $500 which is a complete ripoff.
On top of that there is no charger in the box, Com'on Samsung just stop copying Apple foot steps.

One thing you need to understand is that Samsung didn't copy apple. It's call upgrading and evolution. You need to sacrifice some things for the better. Do y'all prefer a 64gb internal memory and an SD card expansion of 128gb? I think I prefer the 1tb option.

I was hoping to buy this phone because of the rumors about European snapdragon version. But that don't matter now since it has a beutiful screen and great camera and ONLY 1 TB of memory and NO card slot. Not even an option to consider. It's like Samsung is trying it's best so I would never buy any of their gadgets :D I hate the idea but I guess I'm going to have to buy my first Chinese brand smartphone. Software was never a problem for me anyway.

I'm surprised. First reviews on YT show Exynos 2200 isn't that bad, especially there is no so much heating issue like Exynos 2100/S888/S8g1. It's few % slower here and there, sometimes faster than S8g1, but it's cooler.
This sounds unbelievable. If it's true then huge plus for Samsung for not going only for numbers in benchmark but rather for efficency!

It was time to upgrade from a note 8 64gb and 256gb card. Went with the 512gb storage. Preorder was a nightmare, by the time I was able to put items in my cart the 45 watt charger and other items I wanted was out of stock. Had to reconfigure the order again and again.
On the Compare models page on the 9th it showed 8gb, 12gb AND 16gb RAM. Now the page only shows 8 and 16. Bait and switch? Whats up with that?

1100 for a premium phone, and no SD card? its a downgrade for sure, like what is the reason for this downgrade?? Imagine, take few 8k videos and watch internal storage getting full in no time.

However, with 512GB and 1TB options the card isn't an issue for most people. Internal storage is always better. I went the 512GB. My current mate 20x is only 128GB so it will be ample for me.

So what thy did this year is packed last year model with the same camera setup less ram a disaster and overheating cpu both Qualcomm and the exynos variant build on the same garbage Samsung's own 4nm node no charger no sdcard no headphone jack then thy up the price and called it a day thy just continue to fkup this sht will not sell thy will just keep loosing thier market share to other brands

I do like my sd slot and audio jack.

Samsung made a big mistake copying Apple by removing the sd card slot on there phones and removing the Charger in its package,if Samsung wants to offer 45watt fast charging,they should have offered this in the box instead of making consumers having to buy the seperate charger,its only Febuary so there might be better phones in the market that offers the micro sd card slot and damage the S22 series sales,Samsung always copy Apple which sometimes backfires on Samsung,We still have no reviews yet of the Snapdragon or Exynos versions,so wait to see if Samsung again as failed with its Exynos chips

Camera looks good and im a fan of the design. Theres no denying itll be a powerhouse device for the high end power users, the every-device if you will. I think its a shame about the sd card slot though. I didnt use it much but many people did so its removal is quite disappointing for the likes of people who record a lot of video on that monster.
Ram "only" being 8 isnt much of an issue to me thanks to RAM Plus but its not as effective as just having 12GB of Ram anyway.
Overall id say if you have a Note20 Ultra, save your upgrade for the s23 Ultra, but if you have an S20 Ultra or before then this would be a good upgrade from that, otherwise go for an S22+ or even the 21FE

Not paying $500 for extra storage when I already have a 1TB MicroSD. Definitely a PASS on this phone.

Classic phone. Samsung only competes in 1200+ usd. Otherwise there are better options below 1000. Aside from s22 ultra I don't even acknowledge other series models as flagship.

I saw it today in a store, and boy, the thing is a beauty, no denial of it. The variable screen refresh rate, from 1hz to 120hz is a very interesting thing, I wonder if the battery endurance will prove it. Still I miss the sdcard and the 3.5mm jack, but that is just me... or not?

Look at Huawei, now they are adding their external Nano Memory (NM) to their new models, with that there they will start gaining more and more customers while Samsung is just going backwards.
