EePee, 27 Feb 2022I would like someone to explain to me and i hope its civili... moreI prefer to keep my purchased music on an expandable card on my phone vs streaming due to inconsitent signal over long commutes. I've dealth with low storage handsets in the past and I'm not a fan of constantly having to manage space for photos/music, so I prefer the expandable memory option.

EePee, 27 Feb 2022I would like someone to explain to me and i hope its civili... morePersonally I have a huge music selection of local artists that's not on Spotify and takes around 86GB, I also love to take photos using RAW or record slow motion videos that also use plenty space that I also share with games and apps like COD mobile (9GB) or Pocket to save articles for offline reading, and yes I also have a couple pendrives to storage information but it's not as convenient as simply adding a 128gb SD card.

That's why I simply adore my S10+ and will have a hard time replacing it (that and the 3.5mm plug and the dual aperture camera)

Why do you NEED an SD card?
I ask as more of a study. Personally, i havent had an SD card in my phone since my old Xcover 3. Since then, my internal storage has been ample, and moving my photos and videos betrween phone and pc is easy, all i do is plug it in via usb and its done.
I genuinely would like to know why its such a necessity, expecially on a phone with a 1TB storage option.
                  Thanks all

Does it still keep the IP68 rating when S-Pen is ejected/outside?

This is an all round phone(no doubts about that) there are a lot of things to complain about but in the end u can overpass all the small problems. That what makes a good tech

I will say this. I immediately got scared when I held the store demo unit and realized that it was simmering along while looping the promotional video. The only other devices I've seen idle at such a temperature is the S20 series.

The heating is real, people. I'd not stress the phone too hard, as intense gaming will only make it hotter. However, the rest of the phone is flipping AMAZING. The heft is great, the screen is amazing, the camera is very good. However, the frame lock was too much. Like, how do I move it a little bit up to get the subject in the middle?! It just doesn't want to move up unless I flick the phone upwards entirely. This is great in the sense of keeping an image still, but without it, stabilizing the image is difficult. Samsung, do fix the zoom lock as it's very unfriendly to use atm.

For reference, I also tried the P40 Pro which sat beside the S22 Ultra. Its telephoto is better in guiding the frame around, even if the 5x lens isn't as powerful or clean as the S22 Ultra's. However, Huawei's "flick" gestures with their zoom is better. When you're zooming in, you flick the phone ever so slightly in a direction, and the frame slowly moves that way. It's better, but at 30x or 100x, I think the lock feature of the S22 will be better.

Also, the speaker-test isn't that fair; It's PERFECTLY good, I was able to fill the aisle with sound. (However, this is coming from a P30 Pro user, and the P30 Pro has quite a bad mono-speaker)

The phone is good. However, I'd only buy it in a year or so when It costs something like 800 dollars or something, or maybe the current price for a higher storage version. Or you can just get the S21 Ultra for said price: 700 to 900 dollars. Battery life, camera, and screen are pretty much on par except for the pen and performance.

Anonymous, 26 Feb 2022So if low storage bother you that much get the 1Tb model u ... moreSD card is cheaper than the 400€ extra for 1TB. Internal storage might be much faster but SanDisk SD cards are fast enough for photo- and videography (that's one of the purposes they are optimized for).
