Has Samsung basically rebranded the S22 Ultra to a Note 22 ultra!?
Come on Samsung, I purchased the S series because i didn’t want a SPen, or a boxed design!.
Get the S22 plus then? No!.. because then I’m missing out on the highest specs.
Feels a kick in the teeth tbh!.

Chinese manufactured phones such as the Apple, Pixel etc., are ok. Phones owned by Chinese companies...no go.
As for the S22 it is the ultra and the note combined. Hate to think how high they will price this when they should keep it at S-series price levels. Price it more and OnePlus10 will kick their butts in sales.

They, along with LG provide most, if not all of the OLED screens for the top of the line phones from Samsung, Apple, and most Chinese phone makers. Most of the memory chips in the mobile phones are also from Samsung and Sk Hynix.

And regarding the android MIUI skin, i like it. I prefer One UI obviously, but the skin is something that is easy to get used to and definitely not something to keep me in chains at one brand.

I'm not upgrading from my Note10+ without the removal of the selfie camera notch from the display

You can always buy a midrange phone or a Chinese phone, those usually have the features you want.

Honestly, I'd rather walk around with two flagship xiaomi phones at all times . Using one for storage and the other one for sim card, than give samsung 1500$ for a 512 gb phone.
I download lots of stuff because i don't want to pay for streaming services and i hate cloud storage because i don't want to pay for it and/or i don't want those greedy companies to mine my diagnostic data.
If they don't start counting storage options in TB, they'll lose a customer by the time i decide to get a new phone.

Someone should explain that ppl used to buy Samsung smartphones for flexibility rather than Apple iPhones to Samsung managing staff. Removing 3,5 mm jack and micro SD card slot is a horrible. How could they think that someone uses s10 series will stick to Samsung in compromising micro SD card slot And 3,5 mm headphone jack?
