Honestly..Samsung's making some dumb decisions! No SD card slot, no charger..seriously? Trying to copy Apple in everyway! It's basically now down to choice of OS for the consumer..because there's basically no difference befween apple and samsung..it's just the OS now. And is Samsung forgetting that there are dime-a-dozen android phone makers out there? It's basically killing it's own fan base. I am a Note 9 user and there's absolutely NO motivation for me to upgrade. If the things remain the same, I'll probably (and gladly) switch to an iphone, because tge prices are just about the same. Doofus move TBH.

How long does Samsung plan to continue offering 128 gb as base storage? When they removed the SD card last year, they should have bumped the base storage to 256 gb, but instead, they're trying to scam you with a $1400 phone that comes with 128 gb and after a couple of videos, you're out of storage
Utterly ridiciulous
And what's up with the ram downgrade? The S20 and 21 Ultra came with 12 or 16 gb but now it's 8 and 12
I literally see no reason to choose this phone over the S21 Ultra especially now that the price has gone down

12GB is more than enough for most phones. The... moreAsus , Lenovo and ZTE allready has 18gb ram. And now they put only 8gb ram version on the biggest flagship . Android needs ram , 8gb is made for a mid range for these days.
12gb ram is for high end . 16gb or 18gb is for the extreme version how The ultra was supose to be.

I was thinking about buying it, but after seeing the specs I might keep my Mate 20x which still checks off everything I need. If I do get a Samsung it will be the Note 20 ultra.

Anonymous, 29 Jan 2022You clearly never heard of massive storage SD cards. My 512GB gives my Note 10+ triple it's stock storage. But regardless of size, it gives me the option of quickly pulling my storage if there's a problem with my phone. I also have a 512GB in my Surface Pro. I manage multiple businesses and refuse to rely on cloud storage. I need a high end phone that's business oriented. The Note has always been that, except for the disastrous Note 5. Without a micro SD slot, this is just an S series phone with an S-pen.

12GB is more than enough for most phones. The RAM expansion feature will give you more virtual RAM if you really need it.
