I will stick with my Note 20 ultra 5g. I like the expandability and there isn't enough pop in the specs to demand a premium price. I got a great deal on my phone new for less than 800 bucks so I will pass on the Note 22 pretender...+

I find it funny how samsung makes micro sd cards, yet they stopped making phones with micro sd support, literally the one platform that over 90% use micro sd cards for.

Sven, 01 Dec 2021Not exactly. I am using wireless headphones. But 3.5 mm h... moreTrue. I do lot of gaming and photography with my phone. My current phone do not have the 3.5mm Jack, so using wireless.. There is a delay in game sound. Tried many different wireless buds and headsets. Most midrange aage premium phones are removing the Jack so consumers have to adapt.. As a general rule of physics, a large sensor lets in more light. Samsung should stick to 12 MP with larger pixel pitch and get in collaboration with Zeiss so they could get some anti glare coating on the camera lens instead of this megapixel race.. At least, the sensor size should be increased to 1/1.2 inches. I remember my S7 use to take great pictures, although a bit on the punchier side with just a single camera. Portraits weren't so popular those days. Nokia 808 PureView was probably the only phone that used a single large megapixel effectively, using digital lossless zooming without Periscope module. 108 MP will output lower MP downsized images anyway.

The S10 has a lot more features. Front camera with depth sensor. Heart rate monitor and oximeter. It helped me a lot during the pandemic days.
Also large megapixels is ridiculous. A 12-megapixel camera with a large pixel size (e.g 1.8um) instead of 108 mp makes more logical

Not enough changes/upgrades to justify buying this phone when it comes. I hope they added or improved some features when they do announce it. Otherwise, I don't know how you can possibly justify buying this.

At least my V60 will be getting Android 12 and 13 in the future . Hopefully Samsung will come to it's senses and bring back the SD card slot . If not , oh well I guess. Chinese phones will never have it or even usb on the go . Xi ping pong won't be able to access any memory that connects to your device. That's why you're hearing stories about Xiaomi having access and ability to limit your accessibility of your phone. With OTG gone you can't connect external USB drives and disconnect them more importantly .

LOL, 01 Dec 2021Sony phones are overpriced and hardly decent considering th... moreI am not a Sony fan myself.
My point is that flagships can still be decent by not dropping features like 3.5mm jack and SD slot.
Sony of course cuts corners in updates and quality of photography, to make matters worse
they still price their phones ridiculously.
Personally, I don't see the point of people coming into the discussion thread regarding flagships for features that got dropped. I mean it's like clockwork if you look at how the things work: Major brand does a cashgrab move -> Competitors take a piss on said move -> Competitors make the same move -> People get used to it -> It becomes the norm -> The vocal minority continues to complain, some of their good points are struck down with "It's current year, move on!"
Regarding the phone, S22 Ultra would be a decent launch imo. Even if the phone isn't impressive compared S21 Ultra and the thing that excites me the most is Exynos 2200. While I understand that Exynos 2200 wouldn't pull the sword out of the rock and slay the Jabberwock, its a big step in the right direction from Samsung because of the mRDNA GPU.

Gamer, 30 Nov 2021I would love if Samsung brings back headphone jack in this ... moreI highly doubt it, since Samsung wants to portray itself as the de facto Android rival of Apple.
Also, Samsung had acquired Harman some years ago, it wants you to spend a little more to buy wireless audio accessories e.g. Galaxy buds.
