This phone's based on the Note20 Ultra, which has an SD card slot. So I am confident this will also have the option. A note should have it, period. Let's wait for the official specs when it's released. Untill then, best is to take the specs with a grain of salt.

Move on phone... moresd cards is a choice for more storage, some people simply need more, ie, prefer listening to high resolution/bitrate audio using an audiophile dongle or high bitrate wireless audio than streaming, some files can be very large at 100mb per track, it will stutter on bad reception areas.

Now I am just concerned about the weight, I am no big fan of that big camera metal cut out, it makes the phone heavy. The S10 design with a camera bar was so amazing. It was thin and and still had a very big battery.
We don't need so many cameras, the S10 5G was still doing all that I need from a camera set, especially macro mode much better than the Pixel 6 Prro. I don't get why we add so many camera modules.

People here are so 2015 sticking to SD cards. Move on phones have at least 128gb of memory thats enough you dont need SD cards and you have space on the cloud too.

Sorry no SD card thats a hard pass. Still using my 9+, if I wanted a phone with no SD card I'd buy a Crapple phone.

The camera is everything !
I shall uppgrade my old S20 Ultra under 2022, but im not shore that samsung is best anymore and why shall I have a pencil in my phone, hmmmm. Focus to produce the best phone with the best camera, outherwise you are dead / A

According to a lot of leaks from different sources it is to derrived that the s22 and s22+ will have 19,5:9 ratio and the S22 Note will have 19,3:9. For instance screen protectors tell a lot as well, now the recent photo's too. So this is 95% certain.
It is great Samsung no longer will use 20:9 in flagships. Now they have to add a jack to at least 1 device so we can have choice. Sd cards though not so important imho.

Really fed up with the 20:9 factor.
The S105G had the best design and Form factor, was an amazing phone, even today I hesitated between buying the S10 5G again for better battery and the Pixel 6 Pro. Seriously if Samsung made 19:9 devices again, I would buy in a heart beat.
I don't know who the idiot was who started this tall phone trend, it may artificially boost the diagonal figure but at the end of the day you actually have smaller videos and a smaller keyboard for the same diagonal. This is unacceptable!!
Go back to regular phones. One big reason the iPhone 13 and Pixel 6 Pro are so successful is because they have a more reasonable form factor. With 120Hz scrolling there really is no use for taller form factors anymore, it only has inconveniences!!
Samsung is doing so many things right in their phones, I desperately want to buy Samsung again but all of the newer phones have this stupid form factor!!

Usually I'll upgrade to the latest S Series device. I skipped upgrading to the S20 and glad I did but I won't consider the S22/Note 22 or whatever label Samsung settles on. Very few improvements and in some features they're going backwards. Innovation for mobile phones have reached a plateau, why drop a bundle for a bit better camera or a new color? Sorry Samsung, I'll sit this one out.

ocean, 08 Dec 2021i don't think that it's coming with onlly 15 watt... moreThat's for Qi/PMA wireless charging, and it's been at 15W since the S10. It could possibly change since the majority of these specifications were Ctrl C + Ctrl V'd from the S21U, but I have my doubts.
They'll likely have faster wired charging this time around, either way, since the S21U's was dropped from 45W to 25W, and they might bring it back up.
