Does the sales region or carrier affect the updates? My S22 Ultra (12/512 GB) has global ROM (sim+ e-sim) Australian sales region/career and I'm using it in Thailand. It is running on Android 13 one UI 5.1 with July security patch. I'm yet to receive the August update.

B..Bye S22Ultra forum. It was indeed a good mobile except it's battery drainage issues.

Yes strange taking so long in India maybe the skip it altogether cause they saw a bug and then push a larger september patch 🤷♂️

Haven't waited so long for updates on any Samsung phones I've used so far. My previous S21 Ultra used to get monthly updates in the beginning of the second week but with the S22 Ultra it's been a long wait for the updates which is pretty strange & frustrating!!

I had the August Update with more than 2GB file size. There were a few changes like retrieve calls and text messages on Find my Phone, much snappier than the July Security Patch, less heat, better camera, better battery consumption. Not sure if the camera watermark positioning is already included in July patch since I'm not using it, but when I play around with the camera settings, I saw that the water mark can be repositioned from left to middle to right (still bottom part)

Sam799, 12 Aug 2023I haven't faced any issues with the s-pen or WiFi. For... moreSame here 👌🏻 And i imported the Korean version with SD chip when the phone was released, first i had the Exynos EU version, i feelt the difference for sure and then i tweaked it to.
Even i hsd it for around 1 1/2 year it still rocks and have a good battery power.
