spiralofhope, 22 Feb 2023The adaptive refresh rate was invented to reduce power need... moreyes and no because I do notice a slightly heavier battery drain when I put the adaptive refresh rate on so it means when I put it standard on 60hz I get somewhat better battery life out of my S22 Ultra but it's a combination of multipl factors I suppose. Once I pushed it to over 9h of screen on times

SteveUk, 02 Mar 2023I think this whole 'Exynos is garbage" thing is b... moreI agree, it's hyped. My Note8 has Exynos and I never had any issues with it. My S22 Ultra too. Then again, on the other hand, people are complaining about the Snapdragon overheating. I mean it's never good enough. Th chipset isn't the most important to me anyways, I know better.

Zero, 28 Feb 2023Go with Snapdragon 12GB RAM. Exynos is garbageI think this whole 'Exynos is garbage" thing is blown out of all proportion - I have an Exynos S22U and it's fantastic... lightning quick, with great battery life 😍.

For those who still complain about low brightness - its been 1 year did yous till not understand that this is 1750 nits screen verry bright just turn off adaptive brightness and turn on extra brightness options. This automatically switches on full 1750 nits of brightness and vision booster technology. Note that battery life is miserable in this mode as the screen is eating the battery verry fast but this is normal. If you dont need extra brightness its switched off the screen may be bit dim in direct sunlight for battery saving.
            Its a matter of setting.

been owning s22u for a month now, i got it for $850 a korean variant 512gb storage. one thing made me feel inconvenient with the phone is charging speed even though i use a 45w adapter, it still takes more than an hour for it to get full charge coming from 10%.

i've gotten used with my oppo find x2 pro supervooc charging. it took about 30~40mins for a full charge from 10%. and especially when you charge it at 50% to full charge it only takes 20mins.

but SoT on both phone i could get 7hr SoT on s22u while 5hr on FX2pro (newly replaced battery).

It will ruin the experience. Only the reason why I bought Ultra is Screen quality and refresh rate . Don't care about SOT You will get 4.5hr to 6hr with Qhd

2009, 19 Feb 2023Is the S22 Ultra better or the iPhone 13 Pro Max?You can't go wrong with either, to be honest... a lot depends on whether you prefer Android or iOS though.

And personally, I much prefer the look/design and small notch of the S22U over the "rounded" look and massive notch of the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

All you've written is just a false rant. Go and glorify your 300$ Vivo or Xiaomi garbage.

I don't even know why GSM admins deleted my previous reply. You're a brand new account, you're just trolling in the page of a phone you can't even afford. No one believes you!
