Good for you 🤷♂️. It doesn't mean other people have to think the same though. People want different phones for different reasons... what may be important to you will not be so important to someone else. And vice-versa. Plus, a lot of people will always want a Samsung Ultra or flagship phone because of the newness and prestige - the same way some people always want the latest iPhone, regardless. Again, If you dont think these phones are as good as your €400 one, then fine. At the end of the day though, people can spend their money on whatever they like... Try not to get so worked up about it 👍.

if i were on a tight budget today, i would pick the latest ZTE Nubia Z50 or either Motorola X40. but i badly need telephoto camera its why i get S22u. if i weren't needing it i could just buy a midrange phone. when will midrange phone gets a telephoto lens that can decently zoom up to 60x?? i mean come on, maybe can recommend?

James, 10 Jan 2023U cant downgrade a samsung bro. There is no way not unless ... moreif you DIY it. you can't.
so that's why go to your nearest samsung service center and ask them to downgrade your phone. dunno if Samsung Service Center caters a downgrade firmware. but if they don't then they suck.
my experienced with the Oppo Service Center are great! they give free cleaning, free screen protectors, free downgrade firmware even on a out of warranty phones.

Xiaomi 12T to a S22u?
why not compare Xiaomi Mi 12s Ultra to Samsung S22 Ultra?
also same for those who own Mi12s Ultra. why buy Xiaomi 12s Ultra when 12T alone is sufficient?
you're comparing phone not on par to the price.
maybe you haven't heard of Xiaomi 12s Ultra its why you people keep ranting comparison to S22u an on your midrange-flagship chipset phones. compare these phones in price category.
make a rant too at the Xiaomi 12s Ultra Opinion Section. why buy Xiaomi 12s Ultra when 12T Pro can par on it?

Daim Boi, 09 Jan 2023man, you hate samsung that much. what did samsung ever do t... moreI have owned these phones in the last year or so (in this order):
Sony Xperia Pro-I (I paid 1899€) - Returned after 1 month
S22 Ultra (I paid 1399€) - Swapped for the Pro-I at the store
OnePlus 10 Pro (Free work phone)
Xiaomi 11T Pro (I paid 399€) - Sold the S22 Ultra for 750€ and bought this
Xiaomi 12T Pro (Free work phone)
In just one year, I have owned all of these phones. I have a six figure salary and I change my phone every 6 months usually. The reason why I have tried so many phones is because:
1. I get a new phone from work every 6 months.
2. The first 3 phones in this list sucked so much that I had to get rid of them immediately.
If I was trolling, why do I have so many examples of how bad these Scamdung phones are? I am equally against Sony and their pricing policies and lack of fundamental features like proper fast charging. I also don't like OnePlus either.
When a Chinese competitor like Xiaomi can release 108-200MP phones with UFS 4.0, 120W charging and 120hz 520ppi LTPO2 screens at 500-600€ less MSRP than Scamdung and the rest, why should I not laugh at people who are telling me I should care so much about a stylus I barely ever use? I don't know where you live but Xiaomi 12T Pro here was like 499€, and the S22 Ultra was starting at 1399€. So no, they are not even close to the same price.
Next phone will be selling the Xiaomi 11T Pro for the Xiaomi 13 Pro which has the same camera sensor as the Sony Pro-i (which I loved, but the rest of the phone sucked).

James, 09 Jan 2023Say no to flagship that has no sd card. That would leave you with very few options though... nearly all the other top brands (Apple, Xiaomi, Google, Oppo etc.) have done-away with SD card slots too. It's just one of those things people will have to get used to... similar to the disappearing headphone jack.

James, 09 Jan 2023Say no to flagship that has no sd card.Bullshit move by Samsung to remove the SD card option. Only reason I still buy is because of the 10x optical zoom.
The moment another company (other than Apple) comes out with a quality telephoto, I switch.

i guess most flagship from any other brand has no sdcard slot except Sony. which is far too overpriced than samsung.

James, 09 Jan 2023I hate samsung because they are trying to follow apple and ... morewhat? i mean if you wan't to downgrade firmware why not go to your nearest Samsung Service Center? i bet its free of charge.
with the Oppo Service Center its free of charge to downgrade firmware. i have recently experience flickering green screen issues with my Oppo Find X2 Pro (similar issues to those who own Oneplus 8 Pro) after i installed november security firmware update. made my phone permanently green screen (doesn't disappear even with multiple hard factory reset). luckily it wasn't hardware defect but a software issue. saw some youtube comments that downgrading will fixed the issue. so i did what they said from Android 12.1 downgraded to Android 11 and it fixed my screen after i did another hard factory reset with Android 11 version.
if you have problems with your phone bring it to your service center. in my country Xiaomi has no service center here in my region. its why i don't buy phone brand that has no nearby service center.

Daim Boi, 09 Jan 2023man, you hate samsung that much. what did samsung ever do t... moreI hate samsung because they are trying to follow apple and not giving competition on the market. Remember android is an open source software,my phone my freedom. One thing that is really bs move is the downgrade option for the ROMS. Once u upgrade youre OS you can downgrade which is an a22hole move. My phone my rules,i paid premium because you have your in house devs to develop your own oem version of android but making things difficult for me to unlock/choose things for my phone is another story. My privacy my choice. Xiaomi gives that freedom,if they follow the same move with samsung they will find themselves on the pit after few years.

All have: f... moreman, you hate samsung that much. what did samsung ever do to you that you hated them? maybe i smell jelly. people who can't afford tends to troll/bash people who wanted to own samsung flagship.
if you can't afford a flagship phone then just shut up. its not your money, people buy it for preference. its more easy to access samsung ecosystem than that of your xiaomi. it also has most of physical store around the world unlike xiaomi. so people tend to buy it since they can auditioned the phone.
do you think xiaomi is cheap too? look at their flagship variant mi12s ultra which similarly priced to S22u and their mix fold 2 too which cost higher than the samsung Fold 4 at the current market price. dayum
i'd better pick ZTE Nubia Z50 if i were aiming for chipset specs + curved screen at the price below $500.

Anonymous, 07 Jan 2023Why not? Name a better one. None.Literally any Xiaomi phone in the last year.
All have: faster charging, better screen with proper VRR, better CPU, better camera and less bloat with all the Scamdung Knox nonsense. Less harassment via the UI also and far better launcher. What are they lacking? A stylus. Wow who cares!? They're minimum $500 cheaper to boot!
Man so many of you have drunk the Scamdung koolaid so much that it's really starting to show. You probably just buy a new Scamdung Sxx phone every year without even thinking about quality from other brands. Even Apple users have more sense than this.
This is the most mediocre phone there is for $1400 MSRP and even Sony who has no clue about making a Smartphone, at least has their reality engine, great DAC and better displays and camera lenses and they at least have a dedicated shutter button. I would rather buy an iPhone than this mediocre Scamdung flagship garbage.

If I were you, I'd look for a used or refurbished S22 Ultra - you should be able to get a 256gb model for under $1000... maybe a 512gb model too. Plus, there's always the S21 Ultra to consider... it doesn't have the pen built in, but it's still a great phone.
