Hi,
Man this Samsung screwed up big time. F*** just 2days old device and I am thinking i wasted 1.2L simply by selecting one of the worst device in my experience. Type C - 3.5mm jack is not working I tried Samsung, Google, Apple, OnePlus, Vivo and other Brands. Spent 7k in adapters itself. If i connect Samsung adapter i can hear music with background issssss sound and no call function is working in any adapter.
My friend has same phone purchased 3months back, his luck is from local to brand all the adapters are working, he can listen music, call function is working, no background issues while playing music.
All the possible things done, still no hope this service center people including manager is saying to replace new device but one lady is telling to examine the device.
After OnePlus, Samsung will get screwed in Indian market. Don't give such a faulty device as flagship. Also you guys know its hardware problem still not replacing the device.

Please please please do not buy this garbage. It's quite literally the worst phone I've ever used in my life. The camera is absolutely disgraceful for this price-tier. Honestly, it has the most underwhelming camera quality for a 1200€ smartphone. The stylus support is horrible and makes for a terrible drawing/writing experience with seemingly random behaviour. Charging is way, way slower than competitors (Xiaomi, OnePlus, Apple, etc). The terrible Exynos processor lags constantly on basic tasks like even swapping foreground apps. Front camera quality is abysmal. I'm sorry but for this price, I have absolutely nothing good to say.
My wife's 350€ 108MP Xiaomi 11T absolutely crushes the S22 Ultra in both fast charging and camera quality. I bet if she had the 11T Pro (for only 100€ more) it'd do even better with the 200MP. Even my OnePlus 10 Pro (work phone) which I hate absolutely destroys the S22 Ultra both in camera and everyday use and fast charging.
Please, I beg you, do not buy into Scamdung's phones. There is now ALWAYS a better alternative no matter where you are. Everything about Scamdung, even the cost of their cases (now like 75€ for leather) is just a total rip-off. Scamdung will keep shipping garbage Exynos phones as "flagships" if people keep buying. Do not support their aggressive advertising policies (covering churches and cathedrals in their massive ads). Do not support their price gouging. Releasing beta garbage phones like the X Flip, 1, 2, 3 etc.
I sold this S22 Ultra junk for 750€ to a boomer and wrote the rest off as a loss. My next phone is probably the Xiaomi 13 Pro with 1" sensor depending on the price. Feel free to ignore my advice at your own peril.

The onl... moreExactly, most of my friends bought iPhone 12 pro max and 13 pro max and regretted their decision and came back to note 20 ultra and s22 ultra because Apple has 0% customization and most of the apps aren't FREE. You have to pay for small apps but in Android it's available easily.

even I do deep sleep most of app, but my whatsapp/facebook drains a lot, which require background unrestricted.

Below are long term reviews
Pros :
1. Fantastic camera (specially 3x portrait)
2. Great to work with s-pen
3. Screen/display is top notch
4. OneUI is more refined than previous gen
5. Good reception/call quality
Cons:
1) Battery life is not good (around 4hr SoT, with saving tips may be you extend to 5hrs)
2) speakers at this premium price are average
3) Camera shutter lag is pathetic (moving object snapping issues)
4) Very bulky to hold for long time
5) It is SDgen1 so after some time on video record or photography it heats. (still on latest firmware, but very much controlled compared to when it was launched)
I would say, it is best phone in 2022.
Yes direct competitors are pixel 7pro and iPhone 14 Pro.

Also Kirin Socs is much better than Snapdragon, hope Huawei eventually brings them back when they can mass produce 7nm or beyond.

Only by next year S23 series will only use the superior Snapdragon so all regions will get it.

Samsung is making a lot of money with the cheap Exynos chipset. This is why I gave up Samsung and moved to Huawei/Honor about 7 years ago. My wife also changed to Huawei P50 Pocket after S21 ultra was burned while taking photos
