It is the mainstream believes Samsung too be the best android brand and people who don't know better
Teck reviewers pushing this bias lie
All of the popular brands just so happen not be much good
It's painful too watch people buying Samsung thinking it's the best or a Google pixel thinking it's good value for money because there not even close
Or xiaomi being seen as a good opinion because there far from even being good
The good brands less well know or unrated or forgotten that are in fact the best
Samsung used to be good but not anymore
Apple too stuck up there own backside too be any good
The brand that are in fact good are Nubia lenovo asu for performance and gaming
Or asu for camera
Nokia for software and budget phones
HTC for build quality reasonable if on sale
Sony for 4k screen plus sd card slot or sharp for 240hz screen
The best phones in the would are the phones that are not mainstem sadly

No phone has a headphone jack these days. Im used to it by now
My phone doesnt actually overheat that much. Maybe its an exynos problem, cuz i have a snapdragon. maybe its a problem with 128gb model idk
As for the design, i quite like its simplicity. Ive heard so many people say you cant hold it in one hand but i can just fine. I have average sized hands too so idk. As for "cartoonish ui for little kids" that seems like kind of a nitpick ngl. There are options to change the font if that'll help. Keep in mind these are just my opinions.

-Use portable SSD drive - far better durability and quicker content (up)loading
-I don't mind the lack of the jack, but if you're a pro gamer or music aficionado, I get it
-I find it to be one of the most beautiful phones on the market precisely because of that boxy look. 99% of phones are soapy and feminine, this sets it apart from the masses
-Overheating in small tasks- you have a faulty unit, many have one, unfortunately
-Ugly Camera layout -debatable. I prefer it over s21u because it's less tacky, more sophisticated and it helps with better weight balance. It's a dust magnet, though.
-Cartoonish UI for little kids-that's the beauty of Android, you can customize it to your liking
-Too big to hold in one hand-agreed.
-Camera hole in front screen- and what's the alternative? Under display camera with dumpster fire quality? Or a motorized pop-up cam that would add additional 20 grams and additional size to an already bulky phone? It's one of the smallest selfie cutouts in the market, I barely notice it.

I used to have a lot of respect for Samsung when they made fun of apple for the notch and Samsung having a SD card slot on there smartphones no there smartphones are just as Locked down in there own ways now

Rooting support
Opinions too choose your os

Let me tell a trick to save money on samsung flagships each year.
1. Buy a used working condition previous generation galaxy phone.
2. Lets say you bought a s20 ultra for $350-400. You can use this phone as a trade-in for a new flagship.
3. Samsung gives atleast $850 cashback for top tier flagship trade-in and sometimes even more.
4. Buy a new flagship (s22 ultra for eg.) that costs about $1200 on special sale events which are pretty common and get additional discount of $100-200.
5. Additionally you can use student discounts or employee discounts which will save you another $50-100.
6. So basically you will be paying 1200-100-850-50+400 = $600 for a brand new S22 ultra.
7. Use the new phone for upgrade next year.
