From here update the Google Play software. Keep updating over and over again until it says no new updates, as it only installs one at a time for some reason, and it took me multiple goes to install all of them. After making sure there are no new google play updates available, reinstall Netflix
Problem solved

I can confirm I got my S23 Plus today and have absolutely no blurry or banana 🍌 issues with my handset. Even tried close up and no issue. Photos are wonderfully crisp

Anonymous, 16 Jul 2023All phone cameras drop battery a little even using camera j... moreMine doesn't drop at all even by 1% after 12 flash shots. Sure it drops a few percent after a longer flash photography session and especially after long 4K video clips, but never after just a few flash shots. If your S23+ drops 1% or more after just a few flash shots and does it consistently, something is seriously wrong with the phone battery.

It's been there since the start but people only began noticing it after reading lots of comments about it. It isn't a significant issue for me, but maybe for others who frequently take close up document photos with their S23+, its a huge letdown. The only workaround I guess to move the camera away and shoot with 2x zoom or use the 3x zoom telephoto camera which doesn't have the issue.

iHaveNoName, 16 Jul 2023Since when is this a problem? Since release date, or specif... moreI don't know how widespread it is but its there for many S23+ models. You just don't notice it much unless you frequently take close up photo of documents with fine print using the main camera.

JonasNa, 04 Jul 2023I'm very disappointed with Samsung s23 Plus. Worst cam... moreIt's a lens defect on S23+ models only, not on S23 ultra. It's annoying yes, if you frequently take document photos. However, it's non-existent for normal everyday photography with people, animals and sceneries. If you need to shoot documents, just move the phone farther away and use 2x or 3x zoom and voila! goodbye banana blur.

If you see battery dropping even just after a few shots, and it happens every time, something is wrong with your S23+'s battery. Return your S23+ or have it replaced/refunded while it's on warranty.

But if you use your S23+ the way most people will (some facebook, youtube, gaming, not 5G SA all the time), then the phone should last more than a day, if not 2 days.

Mikon, 09 Jul 2023Please share those who have a problem with the camera like ... moreDon't worry about the 'banana blur'. It's a lens hardware problem with no solution other than to replace the lens, but really, it won't bother you with regular everyday photography. If you use your phone mostly for taking photos of documents with fine print however, just move away and use 2x or 3x zoom. You'll get less lens distortion that way and the 'banana blur' is gone.
