For anyone interested on the question about choosing S24+ exynos or S23, the answer is simple: it depends on the price difference.

For example if both phones have similar price or just a 50$ price gap, go for the S24+, it's simply better (Snapdragon fans will never accept this) aside from battery, but that is because the S24+ has a slightly bigger screen with much higher resolution, and even then, the S24+ is just slightly behind, every other aspect the S24+ Exynos is better than the S23+ like performance (yes, the Exynos 2400 has better performance than the Snapdragon 8 gen 2, if you say otherwise you are blind a Snapdragon fan or blind Exynos hater), software, screen. etc.

If the price gap between the S24+ plus and S23+ is too high (anything higher than a 150$ price gap), simply go for the S23+ as it will provide better value for money

Jim, 24 Sep 2024I am going for S23+ not choosing Exynos (S24+)That's a wise decision. SD 8 Gen2 is still a very capable chipset. No matter how well they praise the new exynos versions but it still lacks behind in image processing, gaming & battery life. I've had an unpleasant experience with my exynos S21 Ultra.

Is premium of 150-200usd worth it when buying brand new S23+(512gb) instead of brand new S23(256gb)?? If not, how much premium is usually justified.

Also what aspects of the plus model are better when compared to the vanilla S23 given both use the same 8gen2??

Samsung should give option to put Contacts shortcuts on homescreen as an Icon or as a widget.
One can put Icons in Folder and label it but with Widgets it is not possible.

I had put 5 preferred contacts as contacts short cut icons on the home screen and had made a folder of it just like as is possible with App icons.
After UI 6.1 update I repeated it for 3 more contacts as widgets (as the option of putting these as icons on home screen, is no more available after UI 6.1 )
and now I wanted to create a folder of these 3 contacts Widgets but these do not collect as a folder just like App icons.
Samsung should revert back to previous option prior to UI 6.1 and allow formation and their collection as in a Folder.
