Sam, 27 Jan 2023F no headphone jack????? The newer Samsung phones have no h... more??? It's been a few years since they have had a headphone jack on a Galaxy S phone. The Galaxy S10 was the last time they had an ancient headphone jack on a Galaxy S phone. That came out four years ago.

Even when they did have a headphone jack I never used it. I've been using Bluetooth for music listening since around 2010/2011.

Sam, 27 Jan 2023F no headphone jack????? The newer Samsung phones have no h... moreThe people made the mistakes of buying iphones for insane prices as apple removed more and more features and made them worse and worse.

Samsung had no choice to also loose faith in humanity and follow suite.

People do not buy the best phones, they are sheep and they buy what they are told to buy.

I can accept 8GB RAM, because it’s LPDDR5X, not just 5, and I never had that high requirements for RAM, I have high requirements towards storage, though, I could accept even this ugly and cheap feeling flat screen, but not 1080p screen, QHD screen is one of the main reasons why I love Samsung, and Samsung removed it from non-ultra phones

The WiFi7 specs have not even been ratified yet.

TP-Link has some WiFi-7 routers coming out soon. But there is always the possibility that they can't meet all the specs, once WiFi-7 gets ratified.

Anonymous, 21 Jan 2023There is no justification for decreasing screen resolution,... moreHow about I say all small Xiaomi flagships, All along, people were fine with having 1080p in such a small display. What Samsung did was spoil you with 1440p on S10. And now you can't go back to 1080p. Tell me, can you really tell the difference? I can't, probably because I haven't used (my dad's) S10 that much. I think the most loyal Samsung customers are the most affected, as they bought the S6 till S10, which all had small 1440p (hovering from the 550 to 570 ppi mark) and now seeing 1080p on the S21, S22 is blurry.

If you want to get more analytic, the problem started with the S20, as they had to put 120Hz, but couldn't put both 120Hz and 1440p, so they made it so you could choose between 120Hz 1080p and 1440p. Personally, I think the S20's display was the best. See, these people, the ones that are complaining that 1440p is gone, they were perfectly happy with the screens on the S10 and S20 but they didn't say so, so Samsung never new that was the best. But reviewers being as critical as they always are said "you can't call this a true 120Hz 1440p display because you can't use them both at once" So what did Samsung do? they put only 1080p 120Hz option.
I call this the baby's rattle theory. When you give the baby the rattle, he is fine normal chewing on it, quiet without letting you know that everything is perfect. Once you take away the rattle (by accident) that's when he starts wailing as if he expected you to know he was going to wail.

Tbh, idk why Samsung removed 1440p, but seems like it was a confident decision as they haven't brought it back.

Anonymous, 25 Jan 2023Tell that to 5.1 1440p screen in the past. If you only use ... moresome = not all. most of them are not intensive, you wont need that high res screen.
