After several other Samsung telephones, I bought this S23 especially for the 3x telezoom. Looking at the pictures in my photo program I saw in the Exif info "3x digital zoom". Later I made a comparison between a 50 Mp and a 12 Mp picture the 50 Mp was of course sharper, but did not offer a 3x optical zoom. That brings me to the question for other users: is the zoom function of the S23 really optical or is it simply 12 Mp digital, in other words blown up digital?

If only the charging speed is at least 45w, i'd go for this over my xiaomi 13. Xiaomi's charging speed is such a bliss to have for everyday usage.

anonymous, 03 Aug 2024can anyone explain why the samsung S23 has lower PPI which ... morePPI is Pixels Per Inch, it is the resolution divided by the screen size (area of screen). So if they have the same resolution, the one having smaller screen has higher PPI.
