Android 13 was released only recently, that too with lot of bugs. Also, not happy with the battery performance.

Hi guys. Need a very basic information. For a person who does not play games, does not use the camera except for taking a few pics here and there (and that too, as an amateur), but very particular about sound quality and display, watches lot to Youtube videos and OTT movies and listens to lot of songs, is present in social media like FB and X, reads Kindle books and online newspapers on daily basis, which phone is better- S23 or S23 Plus? S23 Ultra is not considered for its size. Battery life of the phone is the most imporant factor and it should last minimum 24-36 hours before the recharge. The phone will be kept for 2 years before further replacement.
Will post the same question in S23 Plus group also.

I just got one of these for a killer deal! I traded a pixel 3a and 6a for it. It is pretty banged i0 on the frame and has a cracked camera lens but I plan on replacing the back. I think I got a good deal

1- SECURITY -... more1. From a privacy standpoint its absolutely horrible but its better for potential physical damage and data loss.
2. 5G and LTE are both adequate for data speeds. If you upload to the cloud, you can access the data from a different device. Otherwise, if its something important you should always keep some backup battery.
3. 256gb is becoming the norm, if you know that your photos/videos take up a lot of storage then buy a device with a higher amount? Anymore than the max, just buy an external drive that connects via usb-c (which is also faster compared to microsd transfer speeds.)
4. Microsd cards have limited lifespans too also local data corruption can occur if it breaks part way through saving info.
5. Samsung implemented a software feature for that exact reason its called "maintenance mode"
While removing more features is never welcoming there will always be alternatives. May not be great sure, but theres plenty of smartphones out there for people who need certain features. If you absolutely need microsd support then the samsung a series phones have them. Otherwise, some other brand will have it.

The phone is solid for sure and its got some features that should still exist on current phones but these types of users are giving the phone wayy too much praise. Tryna make a 3 year old phone sound like its THE flagship till 2030, even when it was released it was designed and sold as a more budget option hence "FE" not "S20".
