In most places the base s23 still costs more than the S23 FE and it has a smaller screen. As I said in my previous post though, its especially worth getting the s23 FE if it is on one of the numerous promos they have had it on. The base s23 might have some good specials soon since the s24 is out and then in that case and if you prefer the more compact phone, then its worth getting the S23. Basically comes down to budget and the size of phone you want. Performance-wise there really isn't any flagship chipset from the last few years that does not have enough power for daily use. Benchmarks are exactly that, a benchmark to really push a phone to its max but in day to day use, you will almost never get to push a phone like that

There's literally no advantage the fe has over the S23, just disadvantages (a lot of them)

It's older and has a smaller battery.
I'd say get the S23 FE if you don't mind the bezels.

Hi guys
I have the S23 FE exynos version and honestly the bashing of this phone and the comparison to the A54 are completely unwarranted.
The screen is great and bright. The exynos 2200 is miles ahead of the A54 both in cpu and gpu power. The A54 gpu wasn't even as powerful as the A52s. The A54 has a plastic back and S23 FE has glass. The cameras are also way better than the A54 and whilst the optical zoom camera on th S23 FE is not the greatest, the A54 lacks this completely. S23 FE also records 8k 24 fps video and 4k 60 fpd video which the A54 cannot.
Then theres the fact that its an S series phone and will get the AI features that are currently on the s24 series. There is no mention that the A54 will ever receive the AI features.
Alot of people complained that the S23 FE should have used the s23 chipset but the truth is that the hardware on flagship phones, even the exynos 2200 will be more than enough for many years to come. I use mine permanently in light performance and never have any slowdowns so I would imagine that the power of the chip will be more than enough for years to come. The A54 chip will have much less longevity than that.
Guys honestly this phone works great for me. I game with it regularly and I use it for work and reading etc. You cannot go wrong with this phone. The battery life may be the obly thing I would have preferred better but then again it is a powerful device.
Thats just my honest opinion

I know what you mean about the bashing . Seems to me that most want a new phone with all the features for a low price of 299 and it isn't going to happen .
Enjoy your new phone

I own the S23FE. It's a good choice for everyday users like myself. I upgraded from a galaxy S10, and it's great. The camera and processor are better. Dare I say phone calls are great too? I know not many people actually use phones as, well, phones, but it's more than capable. Get yourself a rugged case and you'll be set until the Galaxy S42 is released.

I have the Samsung galaxy s24 plus and the same thing is happening on that page too just go and have a look for yourself. I hope you really enjoy your s23 FE because if I didn't actually get the s24 plus I would likely have bought the s23 FE myself. The screens are really wonderful on these devices!

I AGREE. It is a superb phone for the money, worth the price for the flagship camera alone imo.
You are not just paying for the hardware, you are paying for the 4+5 years of guaranteed updates and the excellent Galaxy features (Galaxy AI incoming). People need to remember this.

Ive had the s23fe mint exynos version since just before Christmas I upgraded from an old a90 5g .
This thing is a beast of a phone . I really don't know where all the hate is coming from .
Loads of people moaning about battery life and heating issues ive had 0 problems .
Sure battery life could be better but on average I get about 8 hours screen on time unless I'm gaming then it's about 6 hours . To me that's pretty good .
Camera is outstanding and holds up well against the s23 and the s24 specially main camera .
Night shots are clear and detailed
Zoom isn't great but does the job well enough
Ultrawide is good
People also moan about the bezels . You really don't notice them once a case is on
It also came with free buds fe, 100 cashback and a year of disney plus . At a cost of nearly half the price a month of the s23 or s24 to me it's a bargain .
Don't sleep on this phone as despite what people say it really is a good phone .

Even S23 FE with Snapdragon chipset still have terrible battery life to be compared, and me as a S23 FE Exynos user can confirm that this phone's battery life is bad lol.
