got the exynos version for my friend, did some hands on and short testing while helping them to set things up and update software
I heard a lot of complains about the screen to body ratio, just want to point out, it's completely fine, in fact probably necessary give the phone's weight (it's heavy and hard to hold without a case with slippery glass back). If you look for it you are going to notice, but it's nothing compared to the A33 and A34's ugly teardrop Samsung insisted to put, and it makes screen protector installation much easier
camera, screen and other things are pretty good, as for the soc, it's probably similar to the exynos 1280? I doesn't get as warm as the A33 when underload, probably thanks to the vapor chamber
while waiting for my friend to be free for data transfer after the updates and initial setup completed, I figured I would just test the battery real quick
brightness around 30%, light performance mode (my friend prefer because they doesn't game much), with battery saver on + 70% soc speed (turned off later for them otherwise the screen won't be 120hz), wifi on, data off
and I started to browse and read articles on chrome, result is 5 - 6 mins for 1% battery
will I recommend this phone? Probably if you have much older phones, and you are able to get the promotion (happening right now in my place, friend was able to get 50% off with voucher and trade in combined), but if it's the original price I will probably say wait or look elsewhere

The screen-to-body ratio is really disappointing
With this price, you can buy mobile phones with a better screen experience.
Mobile phones with excellent screen-to-body ratio. The S23 FE does not feel like a good phone at all compared to the previous generation Creative. It looks like an old and outdated phone.

I've been using this for a week now I changed over from the regular S22
The s23 FE is way faster and smoother. But I can feel it get warm quite a few times (same thing with s22 so it doesn't matter)
The screen and everything is great bezels are fine.
Battery life is not good ( similar pretty bad as the s22 just a little better)
The camera don't seem that good they seem low quality like the a54
So the cameras the only thing I'm disappointed about. I might have to upgrade to the s24 or the regular s23
Anyone else have any camera experience with this phone yet

I own this phone and it doesn't throttle or overheat in regular use. Battery is fine, not great but a day's use, easy. Bezels are fine, seems a trivial and aesthetic thing to complain about. Nicely made, nice screen, about twice as fast as A54. So far, it offers no surprises, it does what it says it does and can offer exceptional value for money depending on what you pay for it.

The ratio of the screen to the body is awful and nauseating! Samsung regression!
We were satisfied with the screen-to-body ratio even as much as the previous generation A53-A52-A52s!!!
The A54 is the best, but it has the visual experience and feel of an older phone.
Even SF23 fe is exactly the same.
Although I am a Samsung fan, I have bought Samsung A series phones for several years. But I can't deal with the A54's screen margin and its screen-to-body ratio. It is very, very thick. I will wait for the next generation, ie A55 or A75.
If the screen-to-body ratio of the A55 or A74 is as awful as the A54, then I will migrate to the Xiaomi brand after having a Samsung phone for 12 years.............

It's not that i don't like it, but going from a note 10 plus to this feels like a huge downgrade. There is no external port for headsets. There is no external storage for my SD card, and worst of all, it doesn't even sit flat on the table. Who thought of having it sit on the camera and rocking 🤔. Actually, the more I think about it, the less I like it. If I wanted to pay a monthly fee for storage, I'd buy an iPhone.
