silversurfer, 15 Aug 2024Guys, which has a better value for the money, S23 FE or A55?S23 FE naturally, especially if you can get your hands on a NA version with the SD 8 cpu. Nothing can touch the S23fe for the price, Wireless charging, IP68, Flagship build and performance and it has the same camera as the vanilla S23, with an actual 3X optical zoom lens.

Jekica, 06 Aug 2024Hi! Do you recommend buying this phone for 400e? S23 is ove... moreYeah I bought the S23 FE for around 400 and it works really well despite all the bad things said about it, I would recommend it as the cameras are high quality and the UI (One Ui 6.1) is really smooth aswell as it's good value compared to other phones.

The only bad things are the battery life(I need to charge it 2 times a day)and the thermal throttling, as you mentioned.

I Think that what you will use it for the S23 fe would be good phone and would last you for a good amount of time.

I disliked so many things about the Samsung...heavy and expensive for its weight and specs, slow 25w charging in 2024, low battery capacity, slow performance (and I'm not even talking about benchmarks here), wide phone (Samsung thinks our hands are getting bigger each year when you are an adult), etc.

I useed s23fe compare for a week, very smooth experience, good cam, never need to charge twice a day but when charging it's a pain in the ass (25w at 2024)

Jekica, 06 Aug 2024Hi! Do you recommend buying this phone for 400e? S23 is ove... moreThe s23 already has a bad battery, and since it's used, I'd recommend you avoid it, the fe is almost as good with a better battery, but if you are a light user, the s23 would be a better fit, in my case (a heavy user), the fe is better (I'm currently saving up to buy it), hope this helps.

Hi! Do you recommend buying this phone for 400e? S23 is over my budget, but i am considering buying second hand s23 for 400e, is there any way to check battery health on used phone and would you recommend buying new s23fe or used s23 for the same price?
S23 fe looks pretty good , but i am scared of that battery life and overheating that everyone is mentioning. I am not heavy gamer, but i would not like if phone is overheating when using camera or social media , and i am intrested if phone can keep up through the day with moderate usage of youtube, social media, camera etc.
Thanks for the help in advance!

As mentioned below, This is an underrated phone which can offer significant benefits compared to other handsets in the same price range, Especially in NA, where you can get the SD-8 version. Never see a NA complaint about overheating or battery issues... When the average temperature in your country is an unsustainable 45C and you are using your phone for everything, instead of getting a gaming / production PC/Mac, don't be surprised too much.

Show us another $350- phone with an actual optical zoom lens, IP68 waterproofing and wireless charging, Dex and more..

I received one ui 6.1, I am not a gamer, but when i take a pictures with the camera, the phone heats up a lot and battery drains very fast. No problem solving until now.

Battery life is very subjective and varies person to person.
After all the software updates + battery saving tips, will the battery lasts the whole day and would have a SOT of up to 6 hours?
Note: I'm neither a gamer, vlogger, video editor or heavy streamer. Just Monday to Friday work taking everyday photos with everyday tasks. My other choice for a next phone is the Xiaomi 13T.
                                        Help please?
