my ancient note 10 plus is still perfect in every way but this beast does look appetizing

thank god samsung flagships barely lose any value so i can knock a good $250 off right now by selling my note

VNuff, 29 Jan 20231TB is plenty (even 512 is more than enough for most), and ... moreCloud storage is a waste of money overprice screw you scamsung.

Unpacked S23 Series - what to expect:

      - no charger
      - no cable
      - no SD card
      - no headphone jack
      - no major changes, only minor changes.
      - no same price
      - no interested colors

      that it, in reality

Cloud storage is a waste of money compared to sd card 1tb memory card .

VNuff, 29 Jan 20231TB is plenty (even 512 is more than enough for most), and ... moreYeah sure, 1TB is plenty, even 512GB is great. But tell me... How much does the SD card with 1TB or 512GB costs and how much is the phone with bigger internal memory expensier? Yeah.. that's the problem not the size. The price difference is huge.

        Cheers!

Anonymous, 28 Jan 2023just use wireless earphones i have those 15$ xiaomi ones an... moreMaybe because some people bought their good wired headphones, you know like a 300€ ones because they are audiophiles and they can't enjoy the sound of their favorite music with BT headphones like average people can. BT are more convinient because they don't have a wire, but they are not better then classic wired ones. At least not yet.

Another reason could be that some people don't like charging one more device because they already have so many of devices charging daily. That's just one more thing to think about. If you have wired ones, you don't have to think about anything. Just put them on when ever you like and enjoy.

          Cheers!

Anonymous, 15 Jan 2023Meanwhile other manufacturers moving to 1" sensors, Sc... moreTwo things crossed my mind.

            Stability and longer software support.

            That's on One UI's side.

            Fluidity is on MIUI's side.

One UI is bloated with Samsung's own apps and it's a very heavy skin because of so many options and features, so it can feel slugish from time to time even on the flagship device, but it works almost perfect which can't be tell for MIUI which is kinda unpredictible. On some flagships it's fine, on others not so much. Generaly speaking, MIUI is not as stable as One UI. It's prone to bugs, but at least is fast.

That's just the experience with people surronding me, so I am not the greatest example out there.

            Cheers!

Anonymous, 29 Jan 202345W charger for such a battery draining phone? reallyHow do you know this phone is "battery draining device"?
I'm using s21+ exynos and always getting 6-9hours of screen on time per day. New snapdragon and bigger battery should perform better. Are you using your phone 24/7 ? I doubt it so 45W should be more than enough to charge your phone even if you charge it for ~30minutes a day.

jC, 15 Jan 2023I'm still with my note 9 512gb and microsd 1tb ;)I'm also still rocking my Note9 8GB/512GB + 512GB SD card, it still feels brand new, (no screen protector except for the 1st year) & no scratches.

Every year I look for an upgrade, maybe this year as there's no Exynos, we'll see.
I was put off with less features each year.

I'm particularly interested in the cameras & still consider buying a compact instead.

Maybe Samsung can compete with the Sony IMX's this year, we'll soon find out.

BHH95, 29 Jan 2023S20 with exynos? :D hot afYes S20 Ultra with exynos 990 it works fine and it was expensive do therefore I need very substantial added features to want to upgrade. One thing is the s-pen, don't have it now. A 200MP camera isn't what I'm interested in because I don't print photos on a large canvas to hang it up on the wall. Emergency SMS via satellite would be highly appreciated because I do love hiking and camping for a few days if I have vacation and so I don't have to take my satellite phone with me perse. Also the chip isn't something I personally care much about, if it handels my day to day routine I'm happy. Of course a chip that's more battery efficient would be appreciated. So generally speaking for me it's important to have some true extra added features over the S20 Ultra and not only higher numbers in MP cameras or faster chips. In that case I'll gladly wait for S24.
