Biig, 20 Jan 2023Companies don't use pop up and sliding cameras because... moreCrazy how you never hear about that happening on the few that do exist. 😂
But with the companies that use folding displays that are "far more durable" and "less likely to break or stop working" as is the case with "most mechanical and electronic moving parts", you constantly hear about their displays breaking.
Do me a favor and never drive a car if you're scared of moving parts. I mean hell it's like you forget phones have buttons.
Do ur research before u come here and spew garbage.

I can't believe that the ASUS ZenFone 9 has a 16gb of ram option and is cheaper with 256gb of storage than this (or last year) phone's base price

Jemlim, 18 Jan 2023as a matter of fact yes i do. i own a Samsung a51.Horrible choice of phone 😂
Anyways, if you don't see that 95% of the time the top of the display isn't showing any content, you're delusional.

Anonymous, 19 Jan 2023Of course the hole punch is better than a stupid big notch,... moreYou've got a room temperature IQ. I never defended Apple. I do think they're even worse. I simply said the hole is hardly better than the notch. The top of the display is almost useless with both implementations. There's almost always a black bar up there.
And even when there isn't, there's a hole. Pop up cameras, sliding displays, and UD cameras are always superior solutions, yet every company is lazy and horrible and refuses to use them.

I can’t believe it’ll have 89.5% screen-to-body ratio, >90% is hilarious for modern premium flagship xD

Anonymous, 17 Jan 2023The SD card thing is ridiculous.
Companies charge us $0... moreOne thing I see here is SD cards. Ideally when a Soc(System on chip) is built the chip itself includes all the specification related modules like RAM, Flash memory(128,256,512gb, 1TB need to be prepared while fabrication of the Soc) and these flash memory are faster than what we get in the market. And as the momories are inside the Soc and near to the actual CPU cores they work faster. And in order to attain IP68 water resistancy they removed 3.5mm jack and memory card options.
But for higher memory variants samsung has to keep moderate prices comparatively.

This is the first time in history to use Snapdragon chipset worldwide. Their Exynos went downhill at this point. If they are going to put their own chipset again, they shouldn't be called an Exynos anymore since the reputation of their branding has already been ruined.

I have an S21 Ultra, which I bought for the camera. It was absolutely fine until one day, I updated and the focussing on the main camera x1 was ruined. Now I have to keep tap tapping the screen to try and get a sharp image. It's a real pest.
I'd buy an S23 to get over this issue if it had a card slot to easily transfer photos from phone to PC, but despite asking Samsung to include this, they haven't, presumably to encourage folk to buy higher internal memory options. Samsung have proved themselves unwilling to respond to customers and, I'm just hoping that another phone soon comes available that has a card slot and a decent camera that doesn't have focusing issues and a x10 optical lens.

Anonymous, 18 Jan 2023Tell me you don't actually need more than 500 PPI scre... moreYou can definitely tell the difference between the crappy screen and an S10+ screen. And resolution doesn’t really affect battery life by a lot. And you are trying to defend a 5 year newer flagship that actually is on a higher price point than S10+’s successor is. And it still gets defeated by my S10+, what a joke.
But if you’re happy with downgrades that are much more expensive and inferior, suit yourself.
