However I will definitely agree you with you that having a sony sensors does matter as they're much more advanced and way ahead in imaging
Sony knows how a to make a camera sensor they're are very advanced and futuristic than any other manufacturer

I find it kind of funny how the top still says 108MP even though the specs have been changed to 200MP.

Anonymous, 13 Jan 2023I will only buy this phone only if they can reduce the wei... moreYou can't reduce the weight of a phone without compromising on the build quality. Making it weigh that much would require for cheaper materials, i.e. plastic frame, back, less complex charging assembly, possibly worse battery, and so on. In short, it will be like S22 5G but with a new CPU in order to fit your criteria. I would recommend growing some muscle and not complaining.

Seriously Samsung, if you still give a special no rounded corners boxy design for this phone, use should give it a boxy UI too. What's the deal with all rounded bubbly icons and ui. I can't stand it anymore.

I guess i will probably pass this one. SD Card is important, not only for moving data when sent to repair as someone said, but I have leraned over time that all data in one place it's just plain risky.
Yes I have Dropbox, but not all get's to go there, mainly only photos (automatically), so data backup is risky on this one.

In my (humble) opinion, this might be THE phone from Samsung that will make them shine in the spotlight, a thing that has not occured since the S20.
Yeah, no headphone jack, MicroSD slot, but it's an S series Ultra phone. People that buy this certainly have money to invest into wireless headphone solutions, as well as cloud storage solutions. Let's not forget that.
So far, per leaks, they are playing their cards right. Getting speakers up to speed (louder and with more bass), fully investing into Snapdragon SoC (which, this generation, is manufactured at TSMC), fixing the camera bugs and improving them, 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 storage as a BASE option. This is finally not a small generational improvement.
Now, if there are features that have not been leaked yet, that's even better. However, it is time for Samsung to show that they are not only capable of marketing, but actually accomplishing new wins. They have to make sure that this is not a rushed product, full of bugs, defects, QA issues, overheating and battery drain issues, something that S20-S22 series were "famous" for.
Also, the price. I hope that they won't be that greedy like Apple. In Europe, 13 Pro Maxes were going for around 1200 euro, at Craigslist-type websites even cheaper, around the 1000 euro mark. But they got greedy, because "inflation". Now the 14 Pro Max is around 1400 euro, in Poland it was as much as 1600 euro at one point. That is exorbitantly expensive. I am no economist, but around 1100 euro price range for this device is a sweet spot. Knowing that there will be lots of pre-order goods (just like always), it makes the phone even less expensive.
