Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra to feature a lower-resolution selfie camera
Ever since the first Galaxy S20 Ultra, the premium S series member has always had a 40MP selfie camera, but next year things might finally change. GalaxyClub latest report claims we might see a new lower resolution sensor in the Galaxy S23 Ultra coming in February 2023.
According to earlier leaks, the Galaxy S23 and S23+ will finally get a new, upgraded selfie camera. They will reportedly swap out the 10MP selfie camera for a 12MP one and the S23 Ultra will pack the exact same 12MP sensor.
Now at first, this may seem like an upgrade for the S23 and S23+ but a downgrade for the Ultra. But as most of you know, pixel count isn't everything, so we might actually get better overall image quality. And maybe, just maybe, we will finally get AF on the front. We can dream, right?
