good story bro, 05 Sep 20247 hours SOT?doing what?Watching or rearranging icons on you... moreWhy are you commenting if you don't own the phone... what do you get from spreading bull*hit on a random phone? lol
I own an Exynos version and I can easily get 7 hours SOT and I do mean easily.
If you play games for 24h straight, that's your problem. But an average user will easily get 7 hours screen on time.

Using the international model with the Exynos cpu ... battery is great, it can last 2 or 3 days of continuous normal use (emails, calls, socials, some multimedia).. of course its life depends totally on how are you using your smartphone..
now performance wise, its a beast, this phone can play anything on the play store at max settings with max fps, about heat production, i gotta say it is as bad as any other smartphone under heavy use ... this phone shines on emulation, and you will basically play whatever you want.. but some emulator apps are not properly optimized to take advantage of the Xclipse Radeon gpu, still many are already compatible and can work with a lot of stuff... over time it has received several kernel updates and fixes to improve the usage of the Xclipse gpu.. thats the only things i got to say, i don't use my phone mainly for games, i already have a nice pc for that , but do enjoy some handheld android games, or streaming from my pc while on waiting lines, public transport, or at the restroom ...
i enjoy the design and compact style, mine is onyx black, sleek and not flashy, easy to handle and carry around without issues.
Build quality is wonderful .. almost a year of heavy use and not a single scratch or scuff and i have dropped it a few times, i do have a cover but is a simple silicone one, not a tank otterbox or something like that..
its a great high end device ...

Gylon, 04 Sep 2024Can someone tell me how good is the battery life of the S24... moreIt lasts 2 days with me (calls, texts, social media, etc.). Easily one day even if I use it a lot and play games.
And that's the Exynos version, SD can last a few minutes more (I don't know exactly how much but it's not a life changing amount).
So the battery is fantastic. Don't listen to the haters, people that say it only last a few hours are absolute liars.

Soo... I can place video from gallery as animated wallpaper on a homescreen, with budget 200 eur Xiaomi Poco device, but im not alowed to do it on a 800 eur S24+ flagship Samsung phone?Dont even get me started on buggy software(aplications crashing,Exynos version).I accepted that Samsung is too stingy to provide proper charger with their phones and i will have to buy it separately.But.. they also provided wrong type of USB cable with the phone and thats just pathetic. The cable you get in the box does not alow you to use 45w fast charging, you have to also buy separately new cable, so you can charge it at 45w with fast charger.Dont trust the reviews, battery life is NOT good, its weak(again Exynos version dont know anything about snapdragon version)unless... your are using the phone as fashion accesory while taking a few pictures and chating on a social app...Build quality is good, screen is good, stereo sound from speakers is decent, network reception is acceptable...(tried 2 different carriers in 2 different states so not a detail testing)Cameras are hit and miss, took few hundreds..day,night,sunset,sunrise,indoor with decent light and low light...i still prefer this camera system over S24 ultra mess, with green and yellow tint(white balance is just wrong) all over pictures...Would i buy it again if i had the choice, hard NO.

Gylon, 04 Sep 2024Can someone tell me how good is the battery life of the S24... moreBoth can survive. Ultra has a little longer battery life and better camera and s pen and better materials. Plus is cheaper and more compact. Has sharper screen with more ppi. Everything else like performance and display and charging speed are similar. So if you use a case and screen protector and if you rarely use camera and don't use s pen go for plus.

Can someone tell me how good is the battery life of the S24+, I'm debating between getting the plus version or the S24 ultra. My current phone is the S21 FE that is over 2 years old now and the battery life is degrading. I plan to keep my next phone for 2-3 years similar to my current phone.

For those who are complaining about battery drain, it's not the Exynos' fault. It's the display resolution.
The screen has a higher PPI and a higher size. All that makes it a battery hog. And don't bother; setting it to 1080p won't help (it's still a 1440P display. You're just playing 1080P content on it).
So yeah. While people are complaining about the battery life being subpar, it's not. It's the upgrades that are making it that way. Not just that, but also the added screen size makes this phone use more power.
So, yeah. It's a good phone!

If battery is the most important stay away from this phone SOT is just 2.45 to 3 at best,i believe it is because of modems and termal.

Took Samsung 4 years to add back 1440p on the Plus phones. Honestly it doesn't make a huge difference. I still use 1080p on my S23U.

Just ordered this because I dropped my S21Ultra and the fingerprint sensor is playing up. I could have headed for the samsung repair center, but i can have this for 20 quid a month which won't be a problem.
I don't use any of the camera capability over and above what the S24+ has and the SPen is a novelty I dont even use on my tablet. The phone is nearly always on silent, I listen to music on wireless headphones. One UI gives the same experience across the board so my Watch 5 pro and Buds pro will play nice with it. The screen is as high a resolution as my eyes will ever appreciate and there is a decent selection of Magsafe cases for it.
Also it has DeX.
And its easier to pocket than the recent Ultras.
Whats not to love?
