S20 FE was an excellent phone even the S21 FE wasn't bad either as it was a very good looking device with slim bezels, compact size, light weight almost perfect but they screwed the FE series with the S23 FE which was more like a cheap A series phone but with this they've trimmed down the bezels a bit, increased the screen size but still I would get the S23 Ultra for this price or the S23 Plus (at a cheaper price).

Nick, 29 Sep 2024But then what is the point of getting phone with higher ref... moreexactly! To have usability of s21 fe after almost 2 years, I am forced to turn off almost everything. I do not expect that s24 fe will be battery friendly even though it has part control of refresh rate 60/120 Hz. Chipset throttles a lot and it is not at all power efficient. I bought s21 fe 2 years ago for around 740 euros. I wish I did not. Now I have a problem. Expensive phone for the endurance time.

Anonymous, 28 Sep 2024This is the same logic as S23 FE and S21 FE when they were ... moreBought my s21 fe for $300 6 months after release date with traded phone, trade in value =($120) which I also bought for $120 and used for 2 years 😂 and now S23 FE is 50% off from srp.

The S24 FE is much more similar to the A55, rather than to the S24. I'm not so sure about the tentative price, feels a bit expensive to me.

Anonymous, 29 Sep 2024Good hand warmer for this coming winter but overpriced.I have one more piece of advice for future owners of this phone. It is that they apply power saving with 60Hz refresh rate and to scroll much slower so that they can use the phone after 2 years for the entire day. I am an experienced s21 fe user.

Won't buy it even for 300 eur with that charging and battery.
Samsung once used to be an innovator, nowadays they can't even follow.

One big dealbreaker is the "adaptive" refresh rate only adapts between 60hz and 120hz. Not even 48hz like on S21-S23, not even 30hz like on Phone 2a.
