Xperia the best. , 17 Jan 2024Bad. Xperia? Try cracking that 1 to 2% Android market share first, then talk.

Also, only two years of updates, and without a changelog too. In 2023, that's really sad.

Time to let it go. I used to own a Sony Xperia phone too.

    Finally got my preorder in, with a Watch6 Classic for like 90 bucks. Hoping this phone will last me for a long time, just like my iPhone 11. US deals seem lacking this year though.

              It may be the best for some, but it's not a fact, and it certainly isn't for me.

                In no way is this phone game changing, it's the same thing as last year, and before, but now it has a flat display instead of curved, and a 5x periscope, instead of a 10x periscope. So revolutionary, wow.

                        No expandable memory
                        No 3.5mn headphone jack
                        No buy

                          Nice phone I like the design overall, but with it being flat pretty much all around it makes it looks thicker. The promise of 7 years of OS updates and security updates is a good one. I'd trade-in the AI features for emergency SMS via satellite any time, it's missing that feature once again and to be honest as a hiker that is pretty much a thing.
                          Apart from that missing satellite SMS thing, the rest looks promising and it's an overall complete phone, just not for me.

                              Nice phone looks good not sure about the rather sharp looking edges and sadly no curved screen because I like how it looks but the phone line was is fine again.

                              Again there is no satellite emergency text messaging which was to be expected after the latest rumors that it won't come with this feature. All the AI stuff is pretty useless for me except maybe that translation part, that looks pretty nice.
                              I keep my S22 ultra and save a load of money.

                                      200mp camera is already an overkill for a smartphone. All your social media photos uploaded will just be converted into a 2mp quality. But people wants the best among the rest.

                                        Keeping my note 20 ultra, only because it has a micro sd card slot. Samsung should add this feature back for the data hoarders among us.
                                        Furthermore, these 4k@120fps clips are going to eat up your space faster than the new AI can make a joke about Bixby.
