Spoonie, 15 Jan 20245X Zoom @ 50MP, is better than 10X zoom @ 10 MP. I have an... moredoesnt matter. Samsung has a reputation of ruining things with updates / never fixing them. While hardware wise it could be a tiny bit better, we will have to see it in action and through time, as s23 users are already hating samsung for ruining camera with android 14 upgrade. If samsung ruins camera with updates, then hardware doesnt matter. Much better use of time would be class action lawsuit against samsung to demand to return our money for how long they had broken cameras, 1 year with broken camera - 50% return, that would force samsung to fix their shit.

I checked snapdragon 8 gen 3 sp... morei'm curious about this too, wifi 7 which is 'be' (a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be) already confirmed but the bluetooth version still don't know, a few other brand smartphone that release around Q4 2023 are using 5.4.. so it's kinda sad if s24 series still stick with bt 5.3

It's a lower quality cheaper camera for video calls, and does not need to be 4k. The 4k camera you take pictures and record video's with though, can do 1080 @ 60fps naturally since it can do that in 4k.
Specs listed are first camera set for pictures, / 2nd set for vidcalls.

5X Zoom @ 50MP, is better than 10X zoom @ 10 MP. I have an S22 Ultra and a Pixel 8 Pro. The Pixel 8 pro 5 X Zoom is better than my S22 Ulrta's 10X zoom. This S24's 5x 10MP zoom will be better than the 10X 10MP zooms of the past. The 5X zoom at 50MP has much more to play with than the 10MP sensor.

Wanna ask directly Samsung through your platform why is 1080 is capped at 30fps only!
I think there's some kinda trend to leave some kind of discrepancies while making their top tier smartphones.!!

(Exynos 2400/ information 100% true used 10 core) (Not yet announced exynos 2400) (S24 basic used exynos 2400 and SD 8 Gen 3, It depends on the region of the country too.

I don't even have S23 Ultra, I have S22 Ultra... not enough incentive to change.
Yes some things are better but some things are worse?
I am waiting for an "Ultra" capable Fold (inc. stylus). Will Samsung make one???

Will it have Bluetooth 5.4? I checked snapdragon 8 gen 3 spec list and it said something about Bluetooth 5.4 and WiFi 7

Then in case You do NOT want to upload Your Vids/Pics to Cloud for Privacy reasons - OR "forget" to Backup EVERY day - You will LOST ALL Data when Your phones "dies" 😱 for example when my Galaxy Note 8 "just" STOP working only after 2 years luckily I have ALL my Vids/Pics on the SD Card! 😊 Now I have Xiaomi Note 10 Pro Max with SD card which is one the best Xiaomi phone 3x Zoom/Super AMOLED/etc.. since 3y but phone still working even once I left outside on the rain for hours!

johmarpc, 12 Jan 2024It won't make much difference 'yet' if you&#... moreMaybe the biggest difference is in storage technology? S21 ultea uses ufs 3.0 or 3.2 and pixel 8 pro uses ufs 4.0. Btw, pixel phone does not use snapdragon, they use google tensor which is slower than snapdragon. Even Google is not trying to claim that their processor is top notch.

If you're coming from an Exynos S22 and older, i think this will be a worthwhile upgrade
I'm pretty curious to see how it performs compared to my 1.5 year old Exynos S22 ultra although to be honest i mainly want this phone for it's flat screen, i despise curved screens and at one point even considered Apple just to get away from them
