Shafiq, 08 Sep 2024Which s24U versions has built in call recording option?Hi. I think the call recording option is in line with the extant laws in the region you live in. For example, Samsung region in America don't put Call recording option because it is against the extant law in America except some people cut corners and install third party software that may allow them do it but it's generally not advisable.

Disappointed with how this phone struggles with 6e wifi for no apparent reason.
When using fibre broadband(17MB/s) and WiFi 6 some apps refuse to load correctly. Have tried resetting, deleting WiFi and everything I could to get it working normally but it still causes issues, weirdly in some apps but not all.

*No. Phones stay the same, but the applications needs are going up. You can't upgrade your cpu, gpu like you can on desktop computer. Why are you upgrading your gpu for example on PC for newer games? Because graphics are improving and your current gpu couldn't keep up. I think you know where I'm headed :)). So no, your theory is wrong :P.

*Let me guess you owned ancient S or even A series with exynos CPU? And to your knowledge software support game on samsung is one of the best if not the best in the world. Buy xiaomi for example you'll realize how good samsung is :)). I have s23 ultra since launch last year(I've received it 2023 February 2nd). I always update my phone and guess what? Nothing has changed it's supper smooth. Most of the times the problem is not the phone or software... Your apps are :P

In bright daylight it's about the same. Zoom is better, low light, video performance are better on ultra's.
+ ultras support gcam on all lenses. Regular series does not support x1 lens so basically you are being cut of great regular photos(for guys searching problems. YES REGULAR SUPPORT GCAM TOO BUT MAIN LENS IS NOT SUPPORTED WHICH IS BIG DOWNGRADE)

Anonymous, 04 Sep 2024Personally, Samsung giving 7 years of updates is a bit of a... moreit depends, if you update over the air then yeah, the phone gets slow as hell, but if you reinstall the software from your pc everynow and then it will feel as fast as it used to, this even applies to iphones, they might say the opposite but ive seen iphones 11/12 being slow as hell,which they shouldnt be as that hardware is still capable, turn fast when reinstalling software from itunes (also some phones from motorola with their rescue and smart assistant tool)
the bad thing is that samsung's equivalent is smart switch and it doesnt allow to reinstall software from it, just doing comulative updates and then you need kies or samfw which dont feel as safe as smart switch does
